Today I would like to talk about purpose.

Yes. Purpose is something deep within us that sometimes we don’t even realize but we are in each and every way, small and big trying to fulfill.

If you think about it whatever we do, say or just the way we desire certain things in life is because deep inside of our heart there is a purpose. There is something in us that is seeking expression. And that something is our life purpose that is finding a way to emerge.

There is something specifically about you that you came here on earth to give. There is something specifically about you that is authentic and that must come out of you and only you.

It doesn’t matter what your beliefs may have been. It does not matter what others may have said concerning your life. It has nothing to do with your career choice. It is just this special giftedness that you have a particular way to express. Therefore begin to look inside of yourself and ask those questions: “what is about me that I came to give?” Perhaps you already know. Maybe you hear the spirit call inside of you that wants you to do a specific thing.

You may feel the impulse to join a group or there might be some things that inside of yourself you know you can do better. I want to invite you to explore these things. You may have a nine-to-five job or something like that. But don’t get caught up in that alone if you are not finding a deep joy in that thing. Don’t become too attached if you are not finding perfect peace in that thing.

Even while working your regular job begin to look for something else that you truly enjoy. Before you came here believe or not you must have agreed to come to fulfill your destiny or else there would not be any other purpose for your soul journey on earth. You are here as god’s divine expression. So begin to ponder on that. And think about all the ways you can fulfill your purpose.

Redefining Peace

Today I would like to talk to us about peace. Peace has become this thing that we hear about all the times. But what happens nowadays it has lost its meaning. You may hear it, people may talk about it, but what is true peace and how does one awaken that peace within? We know that life has many demands on us. We take care of ourselves; we take care of our loved ones. We have to pay bills and we have to go to work. And what happens in the midst of all that busyness is that we don’t really take care of ourselves.

What I mean about ourselves is yes we eat, and yes we have proper hygiene and we look good outwardly. But I am talking about the inner self, the soul, the invisible aspect of us. That is our peace. It is when we cultivate that awareness, which is the spirit within. What makes us who we are? And what makes us think, what makes us do the things that we do? And why do we desire what we desire? When we begin to pose these questions and we begin to take time to analyze what we do and why we do it, we begin to cultivate peace. Why? Because we are created to find ourselves. We are created to find that inner voice. What happens most of the times is we are so busy doing everything else that we don’t really take that time. And when we would like to take that time there is always something else that is demanding our attention.

So I would like to talk to us today; you and I about how to take some time throughout our day and begin to spend some time alone and begin to find that place because it is your peace, this is my peace . So when you wake up in the morning, I know some people may pray depending on their religious background, people may have different practices. There are so many books written about the idea of peace and at times it may even become overwhelming.

But I would like us to talk about today not so much what everyone else has written about or what you have heard but some simple steps that you can take each and every day beginning now. It does not have to be something big that you have to write down or try to memorize. But if you wake up in the morning and you just say thank you. Thank you for being alive and you just carry an attitude of gratitude. That in itself will begin to help you create that awareness of peace. That is one thing you can do and you don’t have to have a long list of all the things you are thankful about. But you can begin by saying thank you.

The next thing you can do is pay attention to what’s happening around you, and the small details of life. If you are saying good morning to somebody just look at them in the eyes, and just really say good morning and mean it. If you ask somebody at work, ‘hey how are you doing’? Pay attention and listen to that person and show that you really care about their answer.

Another thing also you can do is find ways to make somebody happy; not that you can make others happy by trying to awaken their own happiness for them. But there are some little gestures you can do, such as giving someone a thank you card, or remembering something nice someone has done and call them to show appreciation. These are some small things we can do every day: being grateful, paying attention, listening as we talk to people, not talking just to talk, but also let the other person talk, listen and find little ways to show appreciation.

This is your peace.

Ever wonder why we feel closer to someone after they die...?

I often ponder on that. What I finally understand is that the person that we see as flesh and blood is not the 'real' person. The physical body is just a cover-up and once it is removed the person's true nature is revealed; which is pure love.

You would realize that after someone you knew had passed it seems unreal, and somehow you are unable to accept that they have gone for good. That feeling connects you to the soul, which is mmortal.

Love does not die and love cannot die, it is God's substance in man and it's eternal. That is why even after someone has passed we still somehow feel connected to that person and no matter how long they've been gone, that feeling remains as long as we think about them.

The physical appearance often blocks the awareness of the divine nature in our ownselves and even more so in others. What if we were able to go beyond the flesh and behold who we really are in the eyes of our maker? And furthermore what if we can offer that vision to everyone we see? This is the Christ vision that does not see nor judge the appearance, but sees its own reflection each time it beholds someone.

I conclude that the physical body is quite misleading and if we rely on it solely in order to relate to others we will experience many disappointments.

Today offer that vision to everyone you see, but more importantly recognize that you are the essence of God, you can only love because that is who you are. Don't wait until after someone you know transition from this realm before you can realize his/or her divinity. No matter who they are or what they have done your job is to see them as they were created. They were primarily a pure divine idea in God's mind before they took on a human form. See that image, and hold on to it for this is your peace and your own inner awakening.

Unproductivity

I have recently realized that one of the main reasons a soul suffers is because of unproductivity. What do I mean by this statement?

There is a big difference between 'being a busy-body' and 'being active towards a specific goal'. Working a 9-5 job does not mean you are really productive.

Going to church or doing religious rituals does not mean you are being productive. You can try to accomplish many things but yet arrive at nothing. And unless your intention, your goal and your purpose are well defined you will feel unhappy. And the reason for this is quite simple: besides all of these activities there is something else that you came to do, there is something else that you came to give and it is not in the world, if it were then there will not be any real reason for you to be here.

You are here because the world needs something that is unique, that is authentic and that only you came to give. You are a gift. You are the hands of God, without you he cannot express that thing he has imprinted in your spirit.

Therefore my dear friend do not let the world grab your full attention. Jesus said you are in this world but you are not of the world. That which you came to give the world cannot define it. The world does not know it. Therefore look deep within your heart and listen to the Spirit call and you will know what to do next.

Inner Conflicts steal our peace

Any reasoning or idea that comes from the ego will create inner conflicts. The ego's sole purpose is to steal our peace. And the ability to hear directly from God is our peace. The sad news is most of the times we hear from the ego. It continuously suggests ideas that oppose God's ideas.

The ego wants to carry its own selfish desires through any soul that is available and to ultimately destroy it. This is why it is important to make ourselves unavailable by practicing divine presence. It is really not complicated. It is an inner shift; taking the attention away from us and dedicate it to world peace; which is God's intention. And that intention is inherent in us.

Naturally we want to do good, we want to make others happy, we want to make a difference in the world. Don't lose that perspective because your own salvation depends on it. Now don't waste any more time entertaining thoughts or ideas that are not of God. You are a gift to the world and a contributor to its peace. Remember that and forget everything else because the world awaits your soul harmony.

Beholding our beauty is our peace

Sometimes we may wonder 'what do I make of this life'? Or we may ask 'am I doing the things that I am supposed to be doing? Are the choices that I have made the right choices?

I mean how do we really know that we are on the right track? Or do we really know that we married the 'right' person? Or that we are doing the best in how we educate and raise our children? How do we really know that we are the best that we can be? And how do we accept the life that we live and be contented? I mean how do we really find that peace of mind?

There are so many questions in life. Many questions arise when we think about ourselves or our loved ones. So many things cross our minds and they puzzled us at times and cause us to wonder.

But ultimately what truly matters through it all is to know that we can look beyond these things and find something that is eternal, and find something that is immortal. Something that makes sense.

And that 'thing' is who we are at the core of our beingness. It is is who we were before we came here and who we are when we can look beyond all images,all concepts, all conclusions, and all reflections. It is who we will be after we depart this earth and who we will always be. That's eternal. It does not change no matter what we think and no matter what others think of us and no matter the choices that we make.

What really matters is who we truly are in our core, in our being. That's what we have to hang on to. That is what we must behold; our beauty, and our essence. It is the perfect image of God in us that nothing can change nor alter. And that is what we have to hold on to; beholding that which we were in God before we came on earth. Before we experienced all that we have and before we did all that we have done and will continue to do until we die. This is our peace.

Response-ability

We all face challenges. At times it may seem as if they come from diverse directions all at once, and even to the point of overwhelming. What is one to do?

One must respond. One must confront life challenges. Why? Because the very reason we are having this earthly experience is to learn how to confront, how to exist and survive. Failing to do so will result in withdrawal, loneliness, confusion and even depression.

The ability to respond is not fully awakened in everyone. For some people they have to learn. Some people avoid talking about their issues or going in depth, while others suppress them. These are not the proper way to handle or face life issues.

If anyone tells you they are not facing any challenges that tells me they are not living on planet earth. So trust me you are not alone. The only difference is some people have a better handling on life and life issues.

The truth is problems will come, challenges will arise, you can't stop them from coming, but you can rename them. You can redefine them. Sometimes the same kind of problems will come about as many times as needed until you have withdrawn some understanding from them.

The real cause of your unhappiness is not your problems. The real issue is you haven't awakened the ability that is within you to solve them. There is no power outside of you that is going to resolve your problems for you. The solution lies within your core, your essence.

You have the power and ability to rise above every challenge. Only be willing to look beyond them and see them for what they really are. For they are your teachers in disguise. At the core of everything that you are feeling or experiencing there is something you can learn.

Seek therefore for an opportunity to grow and evolve your soul no matter what challenges come your way. You will be amazed at what the school of life will reveal to you. Let this truth awaken your ability to respond to every problem big or small. Remember that power resides inside of you.

Your life is YOUR responsibility, do not neglect it.

If you are hurting...

For everything that is causing us pain at the root of it there is fear. What causes fear is a lack of understanding.

This means the root cause of our pain is not another person or something outside of us . It is mainly due to error. Error in this context means darkness, or lack of light which stands for understanding.

So next time you are experiencing pain; rather it is emotional or physical look for the cause within. Ask what is it that I need to understand better. And it usually begins with yourself. So rather ask 'what is it about myself that I need to understand better;” in doing this you are taking charge. You are being the cause over your life. You are creating your own reality.

Truth in us, or the Christ in us is the light that comes to light up every man. There is a part of your being that knows this to be true. Even if you don't really believe it. It believes it for you. This is grace. This is the grace that teaches us to say 'no' to ungodliness. It is ungodly to look for the cause of our problems without. As a matter of fact it is insane. Always turn inward, trust in your ability to hear from within. And let grace do for you what you are unable to do on your own strength.

vul·ner·a·bil·i·ty

It is the ability to be vulnerable; to be open to attack. Attack here means to face the attack thoughts that come from our own personal ego and to examine the overall mental attitude that is causing us pain. This takes a great amount of courage!

To ask 'What is ruining my life?', and to say 'well let me look deep within'. Not everyone has such ability as easy as it may sound. Most people would rather look without to find faults or blames. This is the wide path that Jesus spoke about in the Book of Matthew. He said “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.

Most people are looking without. This is the wide gate. Only few look within to find the true direction for their lives. This is the narrow gate. It is the gate of the heart. True enlightenment begins there, simply by opening our hearts and listen.

Being vulnerable is a spiritual practice. Any practices that challenge the human's heart is therefore a spiritual practice. But most people don't take the time to be open. Most people prefer to be superficial and most people would rather be with people who don't really challenge their character.

Why? Because the ego does not like to be exposed. It works really hard at hiding itself and it is quite good at it.

The ego is the cause of confusion, and all emotional reactions we suffer on a daily basis. On occasion it will allow us to experience some temporal enjoyments so that way we may believe that 'things are not so bad after all'.

The question is how are you really doing? Deep in your heart do you feel like things are okay? Do you need help? Do you need to be open? Being open does not necesarily mean to find someone to talk to, although sometimes you may feel lead to do so. Primarily this means to open your heart to yourself. Face yourself and go deep within. Are they some things that you need to admit about your own character or personal behavior?

Are your thoughts mostly destructive or constructive? Being vulnerable is being honest and open to anything that you feel in your heart. And I mean speaking and listening to yourself without any reservations.

Today I encourage you to look and see what is in your heart. Allow any and everything to come out in the open. Only then can the light of Truth illumine the heart and cause it to experience a new vitality.

The brilliance of your divinity, the Christ within and your true self is only a moment away. Choose the narrow gate and open your heart.

I know God spoke to your heart today. Someone you know may need to hear this. Please pass it on.

Food for thought...

When we came into this world, the world already existed with its civilization, customs and beliefs. your family already existed. Everything was already set in place and then you arrived as a new member into the family you belonged to, the culture, the civilization and so on.

So my question is where were we before we got to our mother's womb or I should ask what were we? and what in the world were we doing? we always talk about life after birth. How about prior to that?

So How does one become and remain unaffected by the effects of the world Collective beliefs?

Well you must begin with your own world, your own heart, and your own beliefs. What has been the nature of your thoughts lately? How do you feel about everything? What is your intention? Why do you behave, speak, think and act the way you do? Have you observed yourself lately? How do you react to constructive criticism?

Most people are afraid to look deep within, but yet they want to make a difference in the world. The world begins within you. You cannot make any effective and lasting changes in the outer world unless you learn to become comfortable with who you are deep within.

Do You want to know who you are? If so, take time and observe yourself closely. Do you want to know what you need to change in your own character? Then ask someone who deeply loves and cares for your life. But you may begin by pondering on these: Am I loving? Am I kind? Am I understanding?

Our behaviors, our words, thoughts and our actions are a reflection of how much Truth we know and practice. Jesus said this and it is true, the Truth you know will make you free. This knowledge begins by taking a closer look at ourselves and by just being plain honest. Then with an open mind and heart you ask what must I do, where should I go, then you wait as you trust and believe that help is available.

Here is the sad truth the majority of us is busy doing everything else except looking deep within. So the world needs an awakening. Your inner world needs an awakening. This awakening is the basis for your immunity.

Immunity is the condition that permits either natural or acquired resistance to disease. You want to be unaffected by this widespread disease of what I like to call unconscious living? Here is how it begins. Ask: how am I really doing?

You are not alone...

There is a consciousness out there about everything. It is the collective belief system of the human race. It is what most people believe most of the time. It is the sin of this world because what most people believe is quite negative and very contagious.

How does one overcome the sin of the world, how can you become unaffected by what others think and believe about marriage, friendship, success, love, and money, just to name a few. How can you avoid divorce, broken relationships, failure, fear, and lack?

If you are feeling the effects of the world collective beliefs you are not alone, you are actually part of the majority. But it does not have to be that way. You have a say about what you choose to believe and you do not have to be a victim just because everyone else is. This is not about fate or luck, I am talking here about becoming a creator of your own reality and rise above all the negativities that are polluting the human psyche. Yes your child can and will succeed, yes you can have a happy marriage, yes you will come out of debts, yes, yes and yes....

You can change your thought pattern, it will take some discipline and some spiritual practice, but you can begin even now. Ask yourself 'what are some of the things in my life that I wish I could change'. Well now presents the opportunity. If you can change the way you think about that thing, that thing will change. Is it about a person, a situation? Or could it be that you need to work on a project or a relationship?

There is no better time but now. Don't be a victim. That mentality does not work and will never work. It is not your fate to experience unhappiness. You are destined to live life to its fullest and YOU must make the change. Not someone else, you must change YOU; meaning your perception on life. Just remember that it starts with you. Don't wait for someone else to change or some opportunity to present itself. What is needed is all in you! You are enough. Believe it, see it. You got this.

It's been a while...

To my readership:

It is good to be back into the swing of things so to speak. Selah, my 19 month-old daughter in particular, has been keeping me very very busy. Nevertheless I am back and I am glad to be here and I thank you for your patience. I love motherhood but I also love to write and it's been far too long. I like to share what I learn from my own personal experiences. I also love feedbacks and questions because they allow me to dig deeper.

About three years ago I began to do some serious soul searching. I felt like I was too easily disturbed by outside circumstances. I am sure many of you experience this from time to time. Back then the idea of inner peace seemed far away. Just like it does to many people today. The only difference with me is that I was determined to find it at all cost.

Because of my religious background I knew to pray and to study the scriptures in depth. And little by little I was lead to what to study next, I would ask questions and then I would pick up a book and find the answer. I really felt God's divine guidance throughout my search. I was really looking for My True Self. The Christ within, the Image of God.

During the course of my soul journey was born Divine Peacefulness. This book is the substance of the truths I have learned about me, God, the universe and Man. And the profound insights therein came from Wisdom herself.

Thank you for allowing me to share a little bit about me. There is so much to say. Let us stay in touch right here as I continue to share through my posts.

Tabula rasa!

Tabula rasa!

I came across those two words in an English dictionary not too long ago. They literally jumped off the page as if they wanted to catch my attention. After I looked up their definitions I reflected for a moment and the truths they reveal are liberating and this is why I would like to share some of them with you. If you open your heart they might teach you something as well. My prayer is that they do.

Following are the first two definitions:

1. a mind not yet affected by experiences, impressions, etc.
2. anything existing undisturbed in its original pure state.

When I pondered on the first definition; which is a mind not yet affected by experiences, impressions. I thought of a baby. That image reminded me of a state of innocence, beauty and pure genuine love. So this means prior to having this earthly experience we were pure and innocent. And somewhere down the line we have lost sight of our image, which is at the very core of our existence. This is our divinity and regaining that sight is imperative, for our happiness depends on it.

Divinity is something that is unchanged and unchangeable. So this means who we truly are is not affected by who we think we are or other people opinion concerning us. And who we are is 'the image and likeness of God'. And no matter what we may experience and no matter what conclusions we may draw out of these experiences, the truth is we are God's children and as such we are like Him. Our disbelief does not and can never change our true nature.

We often forget who we truly are because we are very distracted by the demands of the outer world. Whether it is work, church, or family demands, etc. It seems like the mind is always racing, always thinking, judging, reasoning, planning. If we don't pause from mental activities every now and then we will become possessed by our own minds. That is why it is good to reflect and shift our perception on the things of the Spirit of Life. Meaning the life force that lies beyond all that we are experiencing, and which is at the very core of our own being.

The truth is when was the last time you visited the inner world? When was the last time you asked yourself “how am I really doing”. When was the last time you really communed with God? We can get so caught up in doing church, and everything else that we may have missed the essential. Which is being; to be one in mind and spirit, to be conscious of life, and that which is fundamental to man’s survival. This beingness is the real source of man's ultimate quest: the way to happiness.

So if you are not truly really happy you have surely been so preoccupied by the doingness of life demands that you have not sought to know the truth of being. And the degree of your unhappiness equals the degree of your unawareness. The more unconscious you are of your true image, which is The Christ within, the more unhappy you will be.

And don't be fooled you are not unhappy because of your job, your marriage, or because of anybody. You are unhappy because you have lost sight of who you truly are, and that is the bottom line. So to you I say Tabula Rasa!

In its Latin derivation these words also mean 'a clean slate'. So wipe the slate clean! Open yourself to a new kind of life. Escape the distractions of the world. Enter within where there is peace undisturbed, where Christ is ready to be born again and again.

When disappointment sets in

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". (Jeremiah 29:11)

When we experience a feeling of disappointment it is an indication to us that we are unhappy and dissatisfied. It really means that we had hoped to find happiness, security, success and/or fulfillment in someone, something or some event, and to later realize that: that person, that thing or that event is incapable of fulfilling none of those expectations. Now what should one do?

Most people keep on changing their life experiences in an effort to have those needs met. This is why people jump from one relationship to the next. Some keeps on relocating or changing jobs and careers. While those outside changes can provide at first a quick satisfaction that can be very deceiving at first, they cannot provide any inner transformation. As a result many people find themselves right where they began.

Others may feel stuck, perhaps in a dead en job, a dead en marriage or even a dead en church. In the meanwhile their soul remains unsatisfied. This longing of the soul for happiness, success, fulfillment can turn into confusion, depression and even suicide when not met. And some religious people may experience spiritual atrophy if they are unhappy with their church service but yet feel hopeless.

Disappointment can last anywhere to a few seconds up to a decade. And in some extreme cases it can last an entire lifetime. What makes the difference is how each individual react to it.

Feeling disappointed in itself is not a bad thing. It is a reminder of our life purpose. It is an indication because it tells us what is going on in the inside so that we may redirect, analyze and reorganize our consciousness. Disappointment is good when we use for its right purpose.

Nowadays a lot of relationships are suffering precisely because of disappointment. When we don’t deal with it right away it can turn into indifference. And many couples even end up getting a divorce because they feel that their marriage is not what they’d hoped it will be.

The solution is so simple that many fail to find it. The truth is we were wired to desire happiness and success. It is perfectly natural to want to be loved and to love. But the deepest longing of the soul is to reunite with the divine; its Source. That place, or that awareness is the kingdom within. Jesus said very few chooses that path; the path to Self realization. The soul wants more out of our life experiences! It wants more than to simply exist. It wants bliss and spiritual ecstasy.

Changing our life experiences is not the answer, but seeking the way to experience the kind of happiness that does not depend on any outside experiences, and seeking to find the kind of success that does not depend on the accumulation of material possessions or money is the REAL Answer.

Today, if you are feeling disappointed don't look for any reasons or someone to blame. This practice is pointless and can only create more pain. Instead seek to discover your true divine Self; this is happiness.

The fruit of death is freedom

"...because anyone who has died has been freed from sin" Romans 6:7

The reason many people are not experiencing freedom is because they are possessed by their own mind. In the outside they may look like they have gotten it all together, but in the inside they are enslaved by their thought patterns and are controlled by their emotions.

People are not what they appear to be. They are their consciousness, meaning the nature of their thoughts and feelings. You are what you really are in the inside, you are what you really are when you are alone. This is why a lot of people don't like to spend time alone, this is one of the tricks of the ego to keep the slavery going.

The reality is if you dont know someone's consciousness you dont really know them. It is hard to know anyone because most people are in the hide out so to speak. Most people are not true to themselves and their feelings because they are ashamed of what others would say if they were to 'be real'. So instead people wear different masks and have multiple personalities. In truth they are possessed by their ego.

It is the same ego that is controlling many lives in various degrees. It is the devil. we all have but one enemy. how it attacks one person maybe different from how it attacks someone else, but we are all on the same boat. That is why we can't judge anyone, none of us is in the position to do so, and if we do we only intensify our own ego; thus keeping it alive.

The level of truth you know determines the level of freedom you experience. The truth that makes us free comes from an inner awakening. Our true self, the Christ within, the ideal man, is dormant in many souls. Though many claim to have discovered the Christ within, but only a few people are experiencing the complete freedom that comes from this discovery.

Apostle Paul is known for his passion for Christ. In the passage above he was talking about the death of the ego; man's false identification due to the ignorance of his true self-the Christ self within and the light of the world. This world is not the world without that we experience through our senses, but the world within - man's consciousness which is the combination of his thoughts and feelings.

And unless the light of Christ shine through we will remain in complete darkness. This is why most people are lost and can't find their way. May today's inspired article quicken the divine life in you. And may the light, the understanding that you withdraw from its message, direct your life to the way everlasting that guarantees perfect freedom.

How much freedom do you want to experience? It is completely up to you. Join the minority of those people who refuse to be under the control of the ego. Observe yourself, examine your own consciousness, spend time alone with God. He lives in you!

Be willing to die each and everyday by letting go of old thought patterns and habitual 'sins'. Keep on letting go, your reward is your freedom!

The Voice of Silence

God speaks to us, we only need to acknowledge him by becoming present. Our minds have been conditioned to project itself into the future or dwell in the past. It requires an incredible amount of discipline to live in the now. But practice makes perfect. We can literally use every moment of the day as a tool to become present and silent.

Here silence does not mean to all together stop thinking, but rather to set the mind on things above or on divine truths and ideas as Apostle PAUL ADVISES. When we are caught up in compulsive thinking we experience fear, rather than love and as a result we experience pain. We can put an end to any unnecessary sufferings by consciously directing our thoughts. The bible said to make them obedient to Christ. And yes you have that kind of power!

Being silent is the same as being present. Many people fail to experience the joy of everyday living because they don‘t think about this present moment; this heavenly gift. They don’t know how to enter the now, which is a place of rest. This is what the bible terms ‘dwelling in the shadow of the Most High'. This is spiritual rest. The mind is no longer toiling thru compulsive thinking because it completely surrenders to and embraces the now.

We can become present by looking at everything as if we were seeing it for the first time. This will cause us to awaken our spiritual senses. Like a virgin soul or a baby we should look at everything in awe. That means we are no longer seeing that thing, that person, that situation the way we have formerly perceived it. We are taking away any personal judgments. So instead of defining that thing, that event or person according to my old definition, I open up my mind by allowing that thing, that event or person to reveal God’s presence to me. I neutralize my mind.

This thing, this person or this event is no longer ‘good’ or ‘bad’. It is simply divine. This is the same as invoking the Spirit of God, which is the voice of wisdom within. But we can only practice this when we have made the decision to rely not on our own understanding, but to rather acknowledge God in all our ways.

To acknowledge God is to become aware of this reality: there is an infinite and definite power beyond and within everything. Many people have had a glimpse of God's power, but very few experience it continuously. If you desire to hear from God and become wise you must practice awareness daily.

We cannot experience any kinds of awakening unless we first practice being present or practicing awareness. This means to simply be. Become the observer, watch yourself as you do the things that you do. Be with that thing. Become a conscious thinker, observe your mind, your thoughts. Ask questions instead of giving definition to things. Flow with life. Meaning feel the aliveness of everything without judging. This is returning to innocence. Like a little child be amazed at everything and everything will speak to you. And you will surely hear from God.

Silence speaks. You can hear within and this ability can become your natural state of consciousness through daily practice and devotion. You no longer have to feel lost, confused or alone. God's presence surrounds, upholds and most importantly speaks to you. Turn all your attention inward and listen in your heart.

Marriage - (part two)

For many people 'I want to be married' can be understood as 'I want to be happy'. Whether they realize this or not, they think that their current life condition is unbearable and the idea of joining their lives or uniting their souls with another sounds 'very dreamy'. They are looking for a way out of their current life situation, the soul is looking for salvation, which in itself is a very good thing. But when our soul begins to look for happiness in some future experiences, happiness becomes unattainable; because Happiness is here and now and so is salvation.

The fount of Joy is right inside of you and is accessible to you right now. Nothing later guarantees anything better, it is an illusion. Now is really all that you have.

The reason why a lot of people are unhappy in their marriage is because they are mainly disappointed. The soul is unsatisfied because it sought for happiness where it could never be found. Happiness is not found in the idea of marriage but in the substance of it. What they did find however is more pain, more suffering.

The world without suggests many ways to ease that pain, but it is like applying a band-aid over an infected wound. It covers up the affected area but it does not have the capacity to heal it.

With disappointment come blame, guilt and condemnation. If you cannot make me happy then something is obviously wrong with you, if I believe that you have wronged me in anyways, then that means you deserve to be punished. Those are unfortunately the negative energies that are now destroying many relationships.

Loneliness is another main reasons why poeople want to be married. And unless we find the root cause of that loneliness we cannot overcome it. People do a lot of things because they feel alone. Thus the saying: it is not good for man to be alone, meaning it is not good for the human soul to function apart from the divine light . In Job 32:8 we read: "But [there is] a spirit "IN" man: and the inspiration of the Almighty gives them understanding".

The disharmonies that we feel within are the direct results of our disconnection from the Spirit of God in us. Without divine wisdom and inspiration, we lack divine guidance and end up making a lot of wrong choices and decisions. We must therefore unite our soul with the Christ within if we are to experience true happiness. Apostle Paul in one of his letters to the Corinthian church, wrote: "I promised you to one husband; to Christ". It is a perfect union. It is the unification of our mind with the Divine. This marriage is a celebration of Life. It is the return of the prodigal son to his father’s house. Where the soul lacks nothing and is fully supplied with divine strength, power, wisdom and love.

Without this unification, the soul continuously longs for more happiness, more joy, more fulfillment through incessant demands, desires and longings. The tendency is to have all of these met through ‘a love relationship’. But all that comes from the wisdom of this world, because true fulfillment is found within and only through our oneness with God in Christ. All that we wish to have, experience or accomplish can all be realized if we make God our first realization. This means our primary goal should be to first desire God and him alone.

Once this desire becomes your primary focus you will inevitably realize all your life dreams as well. This is what Jesus meant when he said: “But seek ye first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things (all your desires) shall be added unto you".

If you aspire to be married, save yourself some 'drama'; do the inner work first. Open your heart and allow the divine light within to reveal, and expose all the hidden, darkened areas of your consciousness. Let that light also heal any old wounds from past experiences. Then consciously yield your soul to the substance of love within, which is your true nature. When you continuously drink from that source of love within, you become one with it. Love seeks to give and makes no demands, it pours itself lavishly upon others and expects nothing in return. Pure, undiluted love is a substance for a happy marriage.

If you are currently married, do the inner work as well, but in addition you need to come to a place of complete surrender. Deep from your heart commit yourself, your spouse and your children (if any) to God. He is the one to ‘fix’ your marriage, not yourself or your spouse. Your only job is to allow him to do it through you.

Most importantly if you have been blaming your partner, yourself or anyone else for that matter for any of your current conditions you must stop right now. Blaming will only attract more pain. Instead turn all your senses inward, and invoke the Spirit of God in you until your soul is completely and unreservedly merged into the Light of Christ within.

Marriage

The human soul naturally longs for love, companionship and wholeness. This is one of the main reasons why so many people get married. But to their big disappointment they realize sooner or later that their so called soul mate cannot satisfy the deep thirst of the soul.

The truth is the soul can only be satisfied with divine substance. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God, Jesus said. This word is written in our hearts. There is a fountain of divine life in every man. Within that divine life there is divine wisdom (light). The light and the life of God in us constitute the Word or the Christ, who is the power of God into salvation.

The soul needs to be saved from the false beliefs that have caused the life of God in us to become dormant. In its dormant stage the soul has many desires, longings and even cravings. And it often turns to means outside of itself in order to feel relieved.

Very few people have discovered the perfect power within. Most are simply unaware of the Truth that lies beyond the incessant demands of the soul. They are so consumed by trying to fulfill those needs through worldly means that they completely ignore the divine light within. By worldly means I mean things like possessions, titles, relationships and the likes.

These are great gifts, but to rely on those solely as the source of our joy is the same as trying to leave by bread alone. When God breathed his very essence (his life) in us, he has also equipped us with his Divine Spirit. That life is complete and lacks no-thing, as long as it works in sync with the light of God within. Without divine wisdom we are unable to control or to properly direct the life current of God in us.

The soul which is the seat of our emotions, operates in complete darkness when it is being fed on wordly substance alone, which gives birth to a false light. When we acquire spiritual knowledge and aspire to God realization, the truths that we have learned become substance in us. And once we continually apply them in our daily experiences that substance turns into wisdom (God's light).

In our core we are perfect. We only need to acknowledge that we are perfect as God created us. To realize our perfection we must however realize God, who is the underlying Cause of our very existence.

How do you realize God? First you must come to a place in your life where you are determined to find real peace and love, which awaken happiness and joy. This awakening will be a direct result of your devotion to and communion with God. It is an inner work. And it requires, all of your soul, mind and body.

Stay tuned for part II, in which I will write about how to prepare yourself spiritually prior to getting married. How to experience joy and peace in your current marriage. And most importantly how to not only recognize the root cause of the disharmony many couples experience, but also how to overcome it.

Change

We often hear people talk about how they wish their life situations were different. Some even proceed to make minor, and in some cases major life changes with the hope they will bring more pleasurable experiences.

What many fail to realize is this: any real and lasting changes first require a shift in perception. This is what the bible terms the renewal of the mind. Therefore If you are serious about making some permanent changes in your life you must first begin in the mind. In other words become inward focus.

We are born in a world that has taught us since eon how to think, feel and act. Since then the human race has been subject to a collective thought pattern and system. This system is destructive and is the cause of the countless misfortunes and sufferings many people are currently facing globally and individually. The only way to overcome the world is by renewing the mind in Truth. In other words if you want to experience true Joy and Peace you must not conform yourselves to the pattern of this world.

There are many things in this world that give an appearance of some kind of enjoyment. But in essence, they lack the substance of Pure Joy. That substance only comes from understanding the Truth that lies beyond everything we can feel, touch, hear, see and smell. Deep in your core, that is to say in the deep recesses of the mind there is salvation, there is peace and there is joy. But unless you are willing to look deep within yourself you will not discover the many treasures that are hidden inside.

There is a vast field of infinite realities within each one of us. The unfoldment of these realities or truths give us a new understanding so that we may interpret our current situations and everything that we experience through our senses in a new light (divine wisdom). In the parable of the hidden treasure Jesus compared this field to the kingdom of heaven. He proceeded to say: “when a man found it (this field), he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field” (Matthew 13:44).

Maybe you are not really seeking for a permanent way out of your troubles. Meaning you are not actively looking for the field. Perhaps you have found the field but did not hide it. This is to say you have on occasions experienced a deep sense of Self and purpose, but did not cherish those moments enough to the point that you are looking forward to experience them over and over again.

Perhaps you fall among those who have found the field, hid it, but yet have not sold everything to possess it. Selling everything means to completely lay down your old life. It also means to let go of the former way of thinking and perceiving and to be willing to see things differently. At this point the egoic mind, which is the false self that has been born of the erroneous thought patterns of this world, will begin to fight with all its might in an effort to continue to live off of you. And this is pricisely why you are experiencing some strong inner resistance at this time.

You are experiencing those inner conflicts because you have sought Truth (God) with all your heart and have genuinely and diligently devoted yourself to finding true joy and purpose. Everything you are going through right now is all part of the process. Therefore do not fret because you are very close to experiencing the deep inner transformation that will radically change your life. And it can happen right this second and at the twinkling of an eye.

Change your mind, change your life for good.

Answering God's Call

You know that God is calling you because there is an incessant desire in your heart to know God. The desire to know God must precede the desire to serve Him. The latter comes only after. Sometimes the simple thirst to know God leads the seeker into the service of God, almost unconsciously. The service of God, however, must flow out of the knowledge of God.

The celestial calling is to all of us. Everyone has received the same call, which is essentially to know God. Once we venture ourselves into this quest of knowing God, the desire to know him turns into the love we have for him.

The truth is we cannot serve what we do not know. We cannot serve until we love. To serve God is actually to love him in every soul. It’s God we serve in others. Service and love are the same. However, you cannot love God until you know him. This is why Jesus told the Samaritan woman: “we know what we worship.”

If your desire to serve God does not come from the desire to know him, your service or ministry could easily be corrupted by selfish motives and egoistic intentions. First and foremost God is calling us to oneness with Christ, and this is precisely where the desire to know God will lead you to. For no one can really serve God except his Son.

It is the Christ in us who does the service. Those who are one with the Christ in consciousness are the elected. “Many are called, but only a few are elected“, meaning very few people answer the call the right way. It is the way to peacefulness and happiness.

Only the son of God in us could perform a selfless service. This selfless service is the substance of true ministry. Answering the call is to put other people needs before your own. This is the grace that will guarantee your steadfastness in the things of God. Considering others needs prior to your own is practicing pure love.

In conclusion, answering the call does not mean to run and do anything without; meaning changing your current life situations or running to start ministry. There is an inner work that first must be done. In the deep recesses of your mind there must be a transformation. This transformation is the result of your oneness with the Christ within. This occurs only when you desire to know God personally and to experience Him deep within your heart.

Once you focus on the within your without will naturally fall into place. And once you able to see God in every person regardless of their behaviors, personal beliefs, race, or religion, you have answered the call. And only now are you ready to serve Him.

Making Peace with Yourself

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid". Christ Jesus. (john 14:27)

Making peace with yourself first involves becoming aware of yourself. The majority of us is living unconsciously, (meaning not being fully present). As a result we often feel divided and conflicted inside. And these negative feelings or vibrations affect not only our bodies but also our affairs.

Doing our daily routines, taking care of ourselves or loved ones, working towards some long term goals, and squeezing some vacations here and there or some other forms of enjoyment, may at first glance give the impression that we are consciously living. The truth is in spite of all these ‘doings’ many of us still miss the mark of truth; which is the essential thing: being fully present.

To be present is to enter into a state of oneness with oneself that guarantees peacefulness. It is the acknowledgement of LIFE, the essence behind and beyond everything and everyone. It is practicing the consciousness of being one with the eminent presence of God within you and everything while performing your daily activities.

Because we ignore life we cannot enjoy it, thus we often go against the law of life, which is love. This ignorance of life, or this state of unconsciousness is the source of unhappiness and misfortunes. Consequently we begin to despise our lives because we deny Our true Self, and nature wich is love and our natural state of consciousness which is peacefulness. But you can begin now to shift your full attention to what is going on right now, yes at this very moment. It is not what you do that brings peace or fulfillment, but rather your state of consciousness as you do what you do.

This is the beginning of freedom. What I mean by freedom here is to come to a place in your life where no matter what goes on without, that is in your life experiences and affairs, you are undisturbed.

If you can practice Self awareness while being conscious of Life, which is represented by the presence of love within; this love that you is capable of solving all the conflicts you may be currently experiencing. But it is a practice just like many other spiritual principles.

Feeling conflicted inside is not a problem, however suppressing or denying that feeling is. It will be helpful if you would simply pay attention to your heart.
You must acknowledge those ’problem areas’ as they surface and deal with each of them, or they will pop out again in your experiences sooner or later. You cannot run away from yourself, therefore make peace, and make peace now. The solution is not to get into another relationship, another job, to relocate, or to make more money. Sometimes it is a character issue.

The minute you are feeling disturbed deep within your heart, it is your cue to pause and silent the conscious mind and become aware. God does speak to man. He continuously invites us to commune with him. Every inner conflict is an opportunity to unite your mind with the divine. As Jesus admonishes us, you must enter the prayer closet within when you pray. This is what will lead you to oneness with your heavenly father. This communion will allow you to create this state of consciousness, which is your true state of being and of peacefulness.

Live your life right NOW.

We have the tendency to wait on something, someone or some future events in order to fulfill a void, or something in the present moment that seems unbearable or unpleasant. The truth is the source of our unhappiness lies precisely in this waiting period.

If you pay close attention to your mind you would realize that it is usually thinking in the past or fast forwarding to the future. This mental behavior is what steals the joy of the now. And it is really insane. Because if you think about it each present moment becomes a thing of the past or some thing to look forward in the future.

The question is when are you going to start living? Living in the past or the future is living in the shadow of death. That kind of life is no life at all. What can one really expect from past regrets or living with some hope that maybe one day everything will be all right. The next question is what are you really doing NOW in order to produce the kind of experiences that you are hoping for?

The minute you become aware of the fact that Now is all that you really have, all the other times, meaning past and future, will cease to exist.

Once you learn the reality of the present moment you will cherish it and make the best of it. It is your true gift from above.

It is true that we sometimes come accross challenging situations that seem to disrupt the flow of our existence. Some things are out of our control such as the death of a loved one. Other things we have control of such as our health and our overall well-being.

The truth is no matter what is happening in your life circumstances, your essence, the divine life in you is unbreakable. It is not and can never be affected by challenges, births or deaths, financial crisis or any other situations you may be facing. The problem is we rarely stop to think about the divine in us. This is due to the fact that we merely stop to think or ponder about eternal truths. And these are the truths Jesus said will make us free once we know them.

When we become aware, meaning once we take the time to look within ourselves instead of focusing on our ‘problems’, we tap into the invisible realm. We escape the illusive realities of troubles and problems and connect to eternity. The bible teaches that eternity is in the heart of man. Furthermore it states that all things shall pass away and only the Word remains, the word also known as the Christ and the Christ is in you.

In that divine awareness suddenly your problems become small, surmountable or they simply vanish. Something happens when you learn to abide in that consciousness; that is the pure acknowledgement that now is your gift from God, now is all that matters. Only in the now can you truly open your heart to God and commune with him. This is your act of worship. This is prayer.

Moreover being in the now helps you have control of your mind, thus your life experiences. It gives you the opportunity to surrender the things that seem uncontrollable and the strength to accept the things that you cannot change, at least not right NOW.

You want to change your life experiences? Do something about it and do it now, not later or some time in the distant future. It is a big mistake to believe so. Right now, right this minute is all it takes to make a difference in your life situation. Do something different today. Open your heart right now to God and let go of the things of the past, let go of anyone and any offenses. Surrender everything, give it all to him and trust him all over again.

And each time your problems seem to get out of hand. Don’t hesitate you can do it all over again. Simply bring your awareness to the present moment and commune with your heavenly father, because your strength, your freeedom and your happiness depend on this. Do it now.

Have you lost your mind?

We hear that question quite often. But taken literally what does it really imply; to lose one’s mind? We usually use this expression when we are in disbelief or in shock about one’s behavior, action or reaction concerning a particular situation. But in truth one may wonder has the human race gone mad or insane? Have we lost our mind or the right use of it?

Just when you think you have heard it all, you would soon hear something crazier or more insane than what you have heard from the day before, whether it is through the media or a friend, whether it is about someone you know or some total stranger we hear some unbelievable news and you wonder how could it be? Than we generally leave it as that as we attempt to move on with our lives. But that does not really change anything, does it?

In our inner core we know this is true. Every negative thing we may have heard or experienced, if not dealt properly, will eventually create fear in our lives. Subconsciously we will begin to feel apprehensive about making certain decisions, going to certain places or doing certain things which can hinder our joy, freedom and peace of mind.

This is why we must learn to properly or righteously treat our own mind so we may become unaffected by the things we have heard, imagined, or seen. In doing so we are also sending positive vibrations to the world collective’s consciousness, thus helping it get rid of some negative vibrations that are the roots of many evils.

There are many situations around the world and some even in our own personal lives and surroundings to consider that one may get a feeling of disempowerment and discouragement. And one may wonder is there any hope? Can anything really make a difference? Or is it even worth making any attempts in helping to make the world a better place to live.

But yes you can make a difference by touching one’s soul at a time, beginning with your very own. And it all starts with the mind and learning to make the right use of it.

Have you thought what is the mind, or what has been on my mind or what have I been thinking? We make several references about the use of the mind each and every day, but yet have we stopped to ponder on what it is and how we can make it work for us and not against us.

Yes there maybe a lot going on around the world as we watch the news, or reading the newspapers. Maybe you are presently facing some challenges in your personal life due to some unfortunate situations or conditions. Perhaps you are concerned about a loved one. Maybe you are trying to make sense of everything for yourself and do not really know where to turn to or what to do anymore with your life. Maybe your relationships are not going as well as you would like them to.

If so, it is probably a good time to focus your mental energies inwardly by escaping the external world thru prayer and devotion. There is a quiet place within your heart and you can escape there anytime you would like. This is a place of refuge or a secret place where you may commune freely with your Father who knows you and loves you and is eagerly waiting for you.

There is a whole new world within that the Light of Christ is able to reveal to you if you are willing to make the shift inward.

Today, better yet right now take a moment, surrender it all, trust the divine life in you to lead you and direct your every step. There is a fountain of unconditional love, support and goodness within you, make that step and believe in the power of God in you, thus making the right use of your mind by giving it all to God and starting over with renewed strength, determination and courage.

We are in this together

There is but One God, the Father of all. There is but One Love, the divine essence in everything that exists and everyone. There is but one Self, experiencing himself through various means and bodies. We are having this life experience in order to learn the true meaning of love. However this can only be done with the consciousness that we are One and we are in this, meaning this life journey, together.

There are no others. We tend to identify ourselves with our different personalities. This false identification will cause separation and division, which is the root of many evils. Once we identify ourselves completely with our essence and immerse ourselves unreservedly in the great sea of oneness we will no longer think such things as this is my life, this is my purpose and this is my goal for we are in fact parts of a whole. We are one. And together we can achieve higher purposes and goals thus making the planet earth a better place to live.

Our essence, the breath of God in us which is the divine spark within everyone is one and the same. It is the divine energy within our soul, mind, body and spirit that makes us whole. Though genetically, biologically or in appearance we may look as if we have different lives, separate bodies, different characteristics , and even various personalities, however in our core we are one and the same.

Many of us have failed to see that because we are judging things by appearance alone and have been affected by the illusive sight of the body eyes; which cannot see at all. It does not see Reality; meaning it is unable to see things as they truly are according to divine Mind.

As long as you are thinking of ‘others’ as separated beings, or as long as you consider your brother as different from you, you are missing the mark of truth and it will be impossible to truly love anyone. This is the meaning of “For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen”. God is reality, God is love, God is the essence within and behind everything and unless you come to that consciousness you cannot see God in others because you cannot see God in you.

It is that which you see in you that you project towards others. Once you are awakened to the Christ in you, the divine seed in you, you can then awaken it in others. Christ is the light that reveals our true essence and enables us to see in Reality.

Today you may begin to ascend to the Christ self in you, which is your true self. Identify yourself with your essence by transcending the personalities you may have attributed to yourself. Know that the divine life in you is able to make you whole and complete. It is the power of your salvation. It is the divine light that is able to lead you unto all truths. Become aware of God’s presence within and trust his guidance as you surrender your thoughts and commit your mind to learning; thus blessing yourself, everyone and all creation.

Have you had enough yet?

You know throughout our many experiences in this earthly realm the Spirit keeps calling us home. All of us are called but yet only a few are chosen, meaning only a few say yes to the spirit call. The spirit call is a subtle voice within our consciousness that is continually calling us higher; many miss it because they are simply unaware of it. However the call to become a better person, to live a better life, to improve our relationships or to find true happiness still stands.

Some people answer the Spirit’s call when they have hit rock bottom. Others when they have had enough. Enough of the material world, enough of temporary enjoyments and their soul begins to look for something more meaningful, something eternal. They are seeking to find the way back to the place whence they originate; a place of love, peace and oneness.

A lot of us like the prodigal son have wasted our substance, our essence, our innocence on temporal things and have strayed away from home, from our source and first cause and have embarked in this lonely journey called life without the spirit’s guidance. And sadly enough the majority of us have experienced or are currently going through some ups and downs due to ignorance of our origin and purpose. Some negative experiences are also due to some erroneous beliefs and concepts that have been impressed upon us as we were growing up and are now stopping us from expressing and being our best.

The good news is at any given time in our lives, at any given moment we can choose to see things differently, we can seek refuge in God through prayers as we learn to surrender everything to Him. The bible says it is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. And that also means ourselves.

Don’t believe the thoughts and feelings that are arising from your heart and mind if they are not causing you to arise in a higher consciousness of love, goodness and service.

If your thoughts and feelings are based on fear, division, hatred and the likes they are not of Truth. Therefore it is better to seek spiritual guidance through prayer, meditation or commit yourself to reading and studying spiritual texts than to trust on your own judgment or interpretations of facts.

If you are feeling burdened by anything, it could be something that has been on your mind and heart and maybe you have been ignoring for some time now. Perhaps you may not know how to deal with it. Or a particular situation may seem overwhelming. Hear the spirit call, it is the Voice for Truth, the Holy Spirit and your true guide to a place of serenity and peace, if you would only open your heart and trust the infinite wisdom within to lead you and show you the way you should go.

There is nothing the power of god in you cannot do, if you would simply and completely trust and surrender to divine will and purpose. Remembering that God’s love encompasses the well being of everyone. And that God looks on all as One. Be sure to pray and believe that Divine Mind knows how to bring about the perfect solution that will supply the need of everyone involved, if any. Therefore think also of others and their well being as well.

So have you had enough yet, are you ready to come home. Do it and do it now. Commune to God and cast every burden upon him and watch the salvation of the Lord. Now is a good time to pray.

"I am happy with me"

I know you have been led to believe that there is something outside of you that is capable of fulfilling that emptiness you feel at times in your heart, or the crying for help that comes from the soul. Perhaps you believe in some source outside of yourself that is able to answer life’s many questions or resolve all your problems, thus giving you peace and happiness.

This belief has become a stronghold, for it has kept you in captivity and has imprisoned your soul, and your heart is still longing for that state of peace and bliss no matter what you have tried. But yet you refuse to let go and completely detach of the things that have provided only some temporary relief or enjoyment. These are the things you have clung yourself to and may seem difficult to let go.

But now is the time for your deliverance. Here and now you can make a decision to be happy and content with you.

It does not matter what you believe you have been through. It does not even matter if you have given up hope of finding true happiness, because happiness is longing after you and knocking at the door of your heart even right this moment. Therefore simply allow it to flow. Feel a sense of contentment right here and right now. Contemplate the life that you now live and believe that it is perfect just as it is.

Now your conscious mind may try to reason and say “well I am not happy with my current job, my living situation, my current relationships" or whatever other conditions or situations you may be facing. It may be even some health related issues. But you see true happiness has nothing to do with external conditions. It has nothing to do with anything that is subject to change.

You can change employment, have other relationships, relocate etc. Those changes come as a result of a radical change within. They are not the means to true happiness. They are the effects of a new, optimistic, enthusiastic mental attitude.

Now you must intend to find true and lasting joy. You were created to experience such bliss and it is possible. And you may even begin right this second by being willing to change your mind about the concept of happiness.

You know growing up we have dressed up ourselves with different personalities based on multiple factors. We have been affected by the environment we grew up in, the family we were raised in, our geographical location, perhaps the religion we believed in or the education we have received. Our soul, the emotional aspect of our beingness, is the accumulation of those ideas.

The truth is though we may have come to certain experiences due to our individual consciousness or belief system, the divine life in us is unchanged and unchangeable. It is the real source of happiness.

If you are still experiencing unhappiness because of ups and downs or mood swings, confusion and the likes, the Spirit of God is calling you home. If you are quick to lose your peace because of what you think ‘others’ do or are doing to you, if you are quick to judge, condemn yourself others or life all together now is the time to begin to adjust your mind to the Divine in you. Even if you begin by saying with absolute conviction: "my happiness comes from me". Say it until your heart believes it's true.

Today answer the Spirit Call and begin to make the journey to true peace and happiness.

The Spirit is always willing only if you would answer His call. Do it now, don’t delay for your happiness truly comes from You.

Why You are Here - Part III

You are here to help make this planet a better place to live. Any divine purpose or manifestation is to ultimately serve humanity at any capacity and level. You are here for others and in truth for God. Without God you are not and without you God cannot. We are the vessels through which God pours out his infinite goodness and Power unto the human race and the entire universe. Our physical bodies are truly the embodiment of God's loving power and peace. It is the means through which we demonstrate God’s presence and his power to heal and to give; thus making our world a much happier place to live.

Why are you here? You are here to take action, to start something new, anything that will benefit anyone. Not to only be part of something great, but to also become great in something. This means that you don’t have to feel compelled to join some kind of organizations, groups, or any religious affiliations. Neither does it mean that you need some kind of degrees or titles. Or wait until you experience as some people put it a ‘total restoration or perfection’ in order to be used by God. This is false humility in fact. True humility is to accept the truth that you are already perfect as God created you.

The world is suffering and the seeming power of darkness is invading our nations and our homes. Our world needs you and cannot afford to wait much longer. Now is the time to take action. There is something you came to give, in a way that only you can. It is your natural giftedness and your individual calling. It is a natural inclination to think or to do a certain thing. It is already in you, you don’t have to go to school in order for it to be expressed. No one has to pull it out of you. It is not something to learn, or some kind of power that someone or some force outside of you will impart into you.

You were born with it. You simply need to boldly say as Jesus did: A body you prepared for me, here I am to do your will father and to fulfill that which was written concerning me in the book of life.

The script is already in you. Accept it to be so. Trust the divine power and wisdom in you to show you the way you should go each and every day. And ask the Holy to guide and order your steps every moment of every day. Learn to rely on Him for your every move even if it is something that may seem unimportant or insignificant. Learn to say 'where should I go?, what shall I do? What shall I say, how or to whom. Remember you are an agent for the force, but you are not the force; you must therefore cooperate with the Holy Spirit.

You are Christ ambassador. Christ is the wisdom and the power of God in you. You are the vessel through which that power is activated to bless others either through prayers, acts of kindness and goodness or any other means necessary as you are compelled within to act, and to do.

This is what is required of you: to simply trust the power of God in you to work through you and to be in constant conversation with God. This power in you is what many calls the anointing. In the morning as soon as you awake make this affirmative prayer. Here I am to do your will O Father, show me the way to go in my thoughts and deeds.

You can be proactive in your own mind and your personal devotion and prayer to God. It is good to be a helping hand, sometimes it is even better to be a 'helping mind' so to speak.

You and God are majority. You don’t need a group of people to back you up or to approve of you in order to fulfill your divine purpose and destiny. Or in order to serve and to love humanity. Simply enter the closet prayer within and send vibrations of love, peace and harmony throughout the whole earth. Begin there and if the Spirit compels you to do a certain thing or make a certain move then you must be obedient.

Now is time to take action and to find the true meaning to your life. The longer you wait the more miserable you will be. Wherever you may be in your work place, at home, with your spouse, children, roommates, loved ones, co-workers or complete strangers; start by believing that you are in the perfect place and in the right environment.

This is your real stage or your platform, the script is already written in your heart. Now is the time, allow your giftedness to bless those that are near and even those that are in far distance. Whether it is through words of encouragement, by sending good vibrations and loving thoughts unto others. This is your ministry. This is your purpose here and now. That is why the spirit of God is journeying through your physical body. This is why you are here to fulfill that which was written concerning you in the book of life. That book is in your heart. Look always within and read your personal script.

Why You are Here - Part II

We are here to find the true meaning to life. Not the meaning we have been taught or have given to it ourselves from our own interpretation of the different realities we may be facing. However beyond everything we may have experienced thus far there is an ultimate reality, the original consciousness, the divine Mind from which all things emanate, exist and consist.

This original consciousness is God, the source to everything. It is the indwelling presence of God within each one of us. It is the Spirit in us, the breath of God in us. The ever-present Teacher within, the substance of all that Is. With this understanding we now know that at any given moment we may focus our attention within in order to connect to reality. Understanding gives light, with this new light you may find the way to the connection and the unfoldment of Truth within, if you desire.

In order than to connect to ultimate reality, namely God, we must therefore be willing to seek it where it may be found. We must also be willing to redefine what we once thought as truth or reality and thus finding the true meaning of everything.

So one may ask where do we begin. We have learned so much and so many different things have been impressed into our minds from the time we were born. Where does the search for Truth, for Reality or God begin. It begins with desire. The desire to discover and to know for ourselves the truth about God, about everything and everyone that exists. It is an individual search, which At first may seem a bit complex. Because for centuries as we know many have made the attempt to find the truth about creation, man and God.

Though it may seem difficult or even overwhelming at first, it is only an impression. God himself said if you seek me with all your heart I will be found by you. Moreover the truth eagerly awaits your recognition in other to reveal himself to and through you. It is a promise, you must necessarily find the truth if you persist and insist.

Some of us have merely accept as truths what has been taught over the centuries whether through science or religion. And are contented with just those facts, though the truths they believe that they know is not able to make them free. Whereas Jesus taught that the truth that we know will make us free.

There is intellectual (head knowledge) and there is experiential (substantial knowledge). Head knowledge will only allow you to operate in limited consciousness, whereas experiential knowledge goes beyond the limitations set by Man and connect him to the perpetual, abundant and limitless current of life. Substantial knowledge goes beyond the physical to the eternal.

The life of God in us is everlasting and this is why we have a hard time to accept the concept of death. And the lack of knowledge of truth has darkened our understanding of many concepts and not just death. Though this ignorance alone is the root cause of many others.

Thus finding the true meaning to life, life as substantial reality, the living and active force in which all things consist and hold together must be our first priority, our ultimate desire. This Life is what the Bible refers to as being the Word, the Logos or the Christ within. It is man’s true image, the divine in each one us, the One and true Self of everything and everyone that exists.

This is the truth that will make you free my friend. The discovery of your true Self. In order to discover it however you must be willing to transcend the false self, or negative ego or image you have erected in your consciousness so that you may come to the wonderful truth of being and be free at last.

Understanding Why You are Here - Part I

We are here for none other reason but to learn. Learning about oneself, his true nature, origin and purpose, is to acquire higher knowledge. We can learn about many things in life but unless we discover who we truly are we haven't really learned a single thing.

Jesus puts it this way: "And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? [ Or your self?] Is anything worth more than your soul?"

If we don't discover our Self, the Christ in us, the Divine in Us, the image of God in us, we will inevitably lose it. And that is the reason why we suffer many troubles and this is the main cause of our bondage. It is Ignorance.

Someone puts it this way: "the biggest bondage for man is ignorance because of which he does not know his own nature. So long as such ignorance remains with him he cannot get rid of sorrow."

We are here to experience God, the divine in us, who is the real source of happiness, bliss, and eternal life. And most importantly he is our real image for we are created in his image as we have read in many spiritual texts. Well what does that really mean?

The bible says male and female created He (God)them. God is Spirit, so in truth we are spiritual beings having a physical experience. What is Spirit? Spirit is Mind, Mind thinks, Mind also feels. Spirit is unlimited. We can think or imagine whatever we want. There is a popular saying that goes if we can conceive it in mind we can achieve it. Mind is thus a vast field of endless possibilities.

The knowledge of oneself or God or the divine in us triggers many questions; Some of which men or scientists and various religions have attempted to answer from the beginning of time. Questions such as 'where do we come from', why are we here, and where we are going', are still ambiguous to many. And some have tried several means for self identification, meaning and purpose in life, but yet still remain unfulfilled deep within.

In order to understand the things of Spirit or God one's mind must first be quickened from within. He must be awakened to the invisible or unseen realm. What we feel, hear, touch, smell, and see through our physical senses help us to experience the physical realm. In other to tap unto the realm of Mind or God it is necessary to open the eye of our understanding as Apostle Paul puts it. The Mind's eye.

The realm of Spirit, the realm of Mind, which is Reality is an eternal revelation of our true Self, Christ in us, God. How much do you want to know? How much is enough? Who is the Teacher?

Why everything you think you see is meaningless

Everything seems meaningless because of the meaning you give to everything. Your perception is the projection of your own thoughts patterns. If your thoughts are contrary to the thoughts of God they are therefore based on error and not on truth.

The thoughts that you think with God are first of all peaceable and loveable. If your habit of thinking usually brings you heartache and turmoil you are thinking amiss. Those are not your real thoughts and you must let them go immediately. Or else the false ego will convince you that they are true and you will inevitably try to justify them by condemning others and make everything and everyone you can think of your adversaries.

Those patterns create within your consciousness some personalities and those personalities rule your lives. They basically posses your soul.

Are you seeing everything through your own eyes (the illusive sight of the ego) or are you seeing everything through God’s eyes. If you are perceiving life from reality stand point meaning through the eyes of God you are seeing right, and if not you are seeing amiss. Thus seeing an illusion of reality. And that is why what you see really has no meaning. It is nothing. And how can you try to make sense out of nothingness? And that is why you must let go of the illusive sight of the false ego personalities in your consciousness, which has given you a false perception.

Are you willing to let go of your eyes for God’s eyes? Are you willing to let go of the false judgments that have kept you in darkness and sorrow? Today is your declaration of independence. This is the first step in freeing your soul from the grip of the false ego that has ruled your consciousness up to this point. You must be willing to let go completely of how you have perceived everything in the past. Allow the light of Christ to reveal and dispel those darkened areas of the soul.

You must therefore make room for the light by refusing to judge any situations, anyone, or yourself according to how you have perceived them in the past. If you are not able to judge righteously leave all judgments to God. That is how you align your mind with divine mind, and that is how you return to your Source that you may continually drink from Him.

You may say ‘my life has no meaning’. Do you have a life that is apart from the God-life? Have you created something called ‘life’ that you can call your own? Who is telling you that your life is meaningless? Who is the judge? Where does that voice come from? If you are listening then who is speaking in your head? So you see, you are not thinking in truth, for there is but one life, it is divine and infinitely good. The voice for God speaks only truth, love and unity. The voice of the liar in your head only speak lies and discord.

Today try your very best to recall everything, everyone and every situation you have wrongly perceived and judged in the past because of your own erroneous thought-patterns. Bring those images in your mind and ask for forgiveness, meaning repent by refusing to no longer see them through a false light and that you will make every effort to see them through the light of Christ from now own. You are making a vow to God to never leave 'home' again;God's bosom where peace and love abide infinitely. As the diverse images begin to flood your mind you may say 'I no longer want to see you or judge you in the past, I am willing to see you differently'. And thy will be done.

When Nothing Makes Sense, Make sense of everything

When life seems to be meaningless or nothing seems to make sense it is time to make sense of everything. And right now, right this minute is the proper time and that is why you are reading this this holy instant.

Every now and then you may experience this emptiness or a state of complete confusion. It is a state of mind where one may wonder; ‘what is the purpose of my life or what have I done with my life or what is the meaning of Life itself. As you begin to reflect on your past or current circumstances, the future may seem pointless or just dark. And everything you may have learned or done thus far may seem meaningless, because in your heart you may falsely believe that they are unable to take you to where you desire to be; which is a state of bliss and perfect peace. And at times you may be tempted to give up the journey, the journey to true happiness.

Well our real purpose here in this physical body is to learn, how else would we have learned have we not done or experienced what we have thus far. The journey to happiness is a learning process; we must enjoy the process rather than anticipating total enjoyment at the end. Happiness is in the here and now, it only requires a shift in perception.

You see we are not who we think we are and until we realize who we truly are our soul will incessantly remind us of our true purpose on earth, which is to realize Christ, our higher self and our true nature. We often hear this speaking of the human race: ‘we are not human beings having a spiritual experience, but rather we are spiritual beings having a human experience’. Well what does that really mean? Do we really ponder on this?

We are raised in a society that has taught us to rely on outside means and resources and we are accustomed to seeking happiness where it is not. We have also believed in human limitations and the idea that we are spirit beings with inherent divine potentialities is almost impossible to conceptualize.

So many of us have simply given up on that idea and thus become powerless in finding true happiness or God realization. However unless we get a full grasp of what it means to realize God or happiness within, our soul will continually remind us of our true purpose on earth. And that is why we experience those confusing times and it really is a good thing. Our soul is calling us to a higher state of consciousness by detaching ourselves to the material and entering the spiritual realm; the realm of the mind.

The bible says there is a spirit in man and the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding. The Supreme teacher the voice for truths is ever present within our hearts and is ready to lead us unto all truths. It is the incorporation of these truths that will dispel the error that has kept us in bondage and ignorance of our true self.

My advice to all of us is to keep pressing on, keep seeking for divine truths and understanding and whatever you may be currently experiencing right now is simply a reminder of your real purpose of your soul’s journey in this physical realm. Seek to know your true self, which is the invisible aspect of you in the realm of Mind. Through your own thinking and seeking you will inevitably awaken the Voice for God within, the Holy Spirit.

There is only one life, the life of God expressed in diverse forms and different individuals. Connect to the source of Life and stay connected so that you may continually drink from the everlasting current of happiness, contentment and success.

Healing our emotional wounds

Every now and then certain thoughts or images will arise from our subconscious mind that will cause some adverse reactions. We may feel pain, suffering which may result in a sense of fear, lack or loss.

It could be that in your childhood or during your upbringing you may have experienced some difficult times and those memories would come back once in a while and play the drama of all that took place in the past.

Perhaps you were involved in an abusing relationship, or maybe you grew up in a dysfunctional environment. Whatever it maybe our integrity, our soul which comprises all that we have experienced in this lifetime thus far, will cry out for help, for salvation.

I have heard someone once says: “life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it”. Some things happened to us that may have been entirely out of our control. However it is up to us to take charge and responsibility for our lives by how we react to them.

Some things do happen to us however that somehow we have attracted into our life experiences. Those things are the ones we tend to ignore the most because the ego would rather keep us enslaved by not recognizing the part we have played so that we may blame, accuse and find others guilty.

The ego’s sole purpose is to keep us in darkness through unawareness. It does not want us to become aware of the truths that will make us free. And unfortunately many people have fallen into its trap. They are experiencing many emotional hurts and sufferings as a result of past events or circumstances but are unable to change their current life conditions. They feel disempowered because they are not aware of the true cause of their pain; for they are looking for it where it cannot be found.

The truth is we all have been affected by one enemy. It is the same ego that multiplies itself through diverse personalities in different individuals. It is this false personality that has made us blind to our true nature; first in us then in others. This is the ego we must transcend in order to allow our true essence to arise.

You can heal yourself, thus save yourself. First you must recognize that whatever it is that you think others may have done to you, they have done out of ignorance, for they too have been deceived by the voice of the liar in their heads, which is the voice of the false personality. Whatever you acknowledge you may have done to cause pain and sufferings in your own life experiences you also have done out of ignorance.

You can repent through this acknowledgement and forgive and heal yourself. You may also ask the infinite source of wisdom and love within to lead you and guide you from now on in all your decisions making.

Secondly you must release everyone from your heart, thus releasing yourself from the ego’s grasp. Commit them to divine grace and wish them well by sending positive vibrations towards them through your thoughts and prayers. Trust infinite spirit to lead them to the way of true salvation and perfect happiness.

Thirdly focus on saving your own soul. That is the sole purpose of your soul journeying on earth. You are here to make yourself happy, to realize your true self. This is your destiny; this is your life’s purpose. You can’t be happy if you are not free. Your divine nature, your true self, your integrity will continuously seek for salvation until it is set free. It awaits your awareness and your awakening. You know what you must do, simply do it and be free.

Freedom

You know you are free when you no longer find it hard to forgive, to give or to love. And when you can do these sacred things without expecting anything in return you can truly say that you are in the true path to freedom. And when the practice of these things becomes your second nature you can then declare total emancipation. Your soul is completely liberated. And only then does love find perfect expression through you. However forgiveness is the gateway to real freedom.

When we hold grudges or have attack thoughts towards others or ourselves we are walking in darkness. This darkened stage of consciousness enslaves our souls and causes us to deny our true nature, which is love.

The soul is our inner-man; it is where everything really takes place. The invisible affects the visible. Your outward expressions come from your soul. If your soul is darkened so will be your acts, your thoughts and your words. Those negative vibrations will only attract negative circumstances in your life and affairs and even cause sickness in your body. Holding people in our hearts darkens and enslaves the soul. This erroneous practice affects our lives and the lives of others.

Won’t you choose freedom over resentment, hatred, and the likes? Won’t you free your soul completely today? Do yourself a favor; forgive yourself and forgive everyone you believe have wronged you in the past.

Open your heart and allow your true Self to find perfect expression by bringing the images of those you have judged or condemned in the past. Hold firm to that image until the light of Christ reveals their divinity to you. Like Jesus demonstrated true forgiveness on the cross you can also say Father forgive him/her for they know not what they have done. No one in his or her right mind will purposely hurt anyone.

If you were walking down the street and a mad person says something offensive to you, would you not just ignore him/her and keep on walking thinking, ‘this person is just mad’. Or if a baby innocently makes a mess would you not think it is funny or cute and just clean it up.

You must realize that some of us are not yet fully awakened to our True (Christ self) and therefore they don’t know how to behave any better until they come to the true light that reveals the God-Life in them. Also realize that some people may do certain things innocently and not realizing what they have done or the pain they may have caused. Therefore treat them with gentleness, kindness and patience while allowing your light to shine upon them, thus awakening them to their divinity.

Walk in total freedom today, this is the life of dominion we are entitled to.

Miracles

Believe and Expect a miracle today. After all why not? You have got absolutely nothing to lose. We invest our faith every day in the things of this world. Why not use this innate capacity in believing in the things of Spirit. What is stopping you from believing in the miraculous power of God today?

Are you more aware of your problems, your bills, or your sickness than of God?

What is the nature of your thoughts? Are they creating more anxiety and fear in your life experiences rather than peace of mind?

If you answer yes to any of these questions you are in need of a miracle, or several ones.

A miracle by definition is a supernatural act of a divine power in the external world. Miracles define the law of nature and science. Nowadays people no longer believe in miracles but yet many pray to God in desperate needs of his divine intervention in their lives and affairs or those of loved ones. Yet others wonder how come God does not intervene or show forth his power as they picture him sitting in some far away place called heaven beyond the clouds and simply watches the many unfortunate disasters the world suffers.

We fail to see the manifestations of God's power in our lives and the lives of others simply because we don't have faith in God and don't believe in his divine interventions in our lives. The visible things have completely blocked our awareness to their substantial invisible nature; which is GOD.

People don't expect miracles because they don’t believe in God. They don't believe in Him because they don't know him. And they don't know him because they have a false image of Him. We perceive God through our own perception of what or who we think God is based on what we think we are. We see ourselves confined in a body and limited by time, space, nature or science. This is the image that we have of ourselves and that is the image we attribute to God.

Through this erroneous conceptualization of God it is impossible to believe in his divine power or come to the perfect knowledge of his divine nature. And unless we understand God’s nature and enter into a personal relationship with Him in our daily life experiences we won’t have faith in Him. Faith is the real substance that is needed in order to see miracles in our lives and affairs.

In truth everything our eyes behold is an emanation of God or an expression of Love for God is love. Everything in all creation comes from God. He is the Supreme being or Divine consciousness that created all things. The bible says everything was made by him and without him nothing was made that has been made. God is therefore the ever-present, the all-pervading life principle in all things. It is through this operative, informative, creative power that all things came into existence. This is the Universal aspect of God.

The God life in all creatures is at the core of everything; because without that divine substance nothing would exist today. God is therefore omnipresent. Those who have known God personally described him as being love. Love is one of the main characteristics or natures attributed to God. The power of his love is the vibrational energy or life force that harmonizes everything throughout the entire creation from the greatest elements of the universe to the smallest particles in our bodies.

This knowledge brings us to the awareness of his omnipresence, omniscience and omnipotence. We simply can't ignore the fact that there is a divine intelligence within every creature that is directing the life principle within it to assure perfect functioning. This is why the sun, the moon, the seasons know to alternate and each seed knows the specific kind of fruits to produce through their respective interaction with the soil. The organs in our body know also how to function on their own without our command. This is powerful and this is the power and effects of love.

Now we can experience miracles in our personal lives through an intimate relationship with God as we seek to daily commune with him. It all begins with a genuine thirst to know God personally by renewing our minds in Truth, thus liberation our souls. The heart is the seat of the soul. This is the source of our connection to God, to love and to experience God's miraculous power in our lives.

Miracles are all around us we simply don’t have eyes to see. The presence of God surrounds us but our mind’s eyes are not quickened to see in the spiritual realm. Our body eyes are the real block to divine awareness. Our minds are so preoccupied with things that seem urgent that they fail to become aware of the things that are vital. These are the things that are eternal. They are pure, unadulterated expressions of love.

You can become aware of God/of love by noticing the simple beauty of nature, a flower blossoming, the innocent smile from a child, an act of kindness from a dear friend, and so on. These are the miracles that pass us day after day.

You want to see or experience a miracle? You must therefore look for it. Expect it. And it will be so. However you can only find it where it must be found; in the presence of God. Your acknowledgment and conviction that God is omnipresent, all powerful and all-knowing is the fundamental knowledge that will connect you to his divine presence.

This pure consciousness will activate the pure energy of the divine essence from your heart, which will allow you to see everything in a new light, thus expanding and expressing God's divine presence in and through you unto others. Miracles will inevitably follow. For where God presence is there is also power.

You heart is your connection to God's divine presence in you. It is your integrity. It is the part of you that knows the truth about you, your maker, your origin and identity. It is in the heart that we feel and believe, therefore allow yourself to feel the presence of God without fear, for Love drives out all fears. Believe that this pure energy, this divine power upholds, protects and surrounds you, there is nothing to fear for love is all encompassing.

You may say "I trust God's perfect power in me to draw to me all that I need in order to become more aware of his divine presence in me and in everything that was created".

You may also say "Today I interfere not with the free flow of God's life/ divine energy in me". "I let God find perfect expression through me, now and forevermore".

Sufferings

We naturally try to avoid situations or people that might cause us pain and sufferings, because by nature the human soul is destined to experience happiness and bliss.

However in this world pain and sufferings seem to be inevitable. But in reality they are a vital part of the human experience.

We must therefore acknowledge our pains, hurts, disappointment and our emotions. In doing so we must avoid asking 'why' has this happened or 'why' must I go through this? We must instead ask 'what' can I make of this? 'What is this current situation revealing about my character? What can I change within? What is this here to teach me?

The 'why's' will only invoke feelings of guilt and condemnation, the 'What's' are the stepping stones to spiritual growth and development.

We must change the way we perceive something in order to overcome it. Painful situations remind us that we are only humans and to be fully human is to fully embrace our human nature. Unless we do so we will not realize our divine nature.

This is why it is important to allow yourself to 'feel' how a particular situation has affected you. However this must be done without judging yourself or anyone else. Then it is equally important to surrender your feelings to God in Silence and let Divine Mind, justice and love be in control. Don't worry you may have to do this several times and this is perfectly ok. Then you need to seek divine guidance as to what to do next. In the meanwhile commune incessantly with God as you surrender and trust in his divine power to work all things out for good.

This spiritual practice maybe difficult at first because the tendency is to worry, doubt, and become fearful by assuming the worst possible outcome. But you must press through and make yourself be still and wait on the Lord.

Maybe you or a loved one is going through a challenging situation or are experiencing some kind of loss or sickness. Perhaps someone you have trusted and loved has caused you some disappointment, Maybe you are experiencing some kind of misfortunes or regrets.

A lot of the things that you are experiencing are the effect of the negative world system. But you must take heart for Christ Jesus has overcome the world and has taught us how you can too. Therefore let the same mind which was in Him be also in you. Christ dwells within your heart. It is your superconscious mind and your access to freedom, divine love, guidance and intelligence. It all begins in the mind.

Challenging situations are opportunities for change. Change your mind, change your world. That is where the real power resides, within you. Nothing outside of you has any real power to affect you. If you change the way you look at your current difficulties they will disappear. And like Florence Shinn says they shall go back to their native nothingness for they are from your vain imaginings.

I know that every time we experience some kind of pain, loss or suffering the tendency is to look without instead of within, which usually results in self-pity, disempowerment and sometimes depression. We often blame God or others for our own misfortunes because the false ego likes to point fingers to judge and condemn. This is the way to perdition and to experiencing more darkness. Won't you come to the light and allow its brightness to lead you to true enlightenment and happiness today and forevermore?

Remember you are in control of your world, if you let your world controls you, then it will be so. However you have the option to take charge and ownership of the direction of your life through your intentions. You can choose to instead speak to those mountains (adverse thoughts, situations or conditions) and tell them how big is your God today! You can arise above the seeming challenges. There is a way out, it has always been there within your own consciousness. The question is are you willing to change? That is the true lesson our challenges are here to teach us; an opportunity for change. Therefore be the change and take control of your life now.

Surrendering to Divine Will for Perfect Manifestations

Unless we learn the true meaning of the term ‘surrender’ we will continuously be afraid of completely yielding our hearts desires, our goals, our intentions and our dreams to God. And unless we learn how to be still and listen to our own hearts where the Voice for God speaks to us we will not properly hear what God’s purpose is for our lives, thus his ultimate will.

Surrendering is trusting in a higher power. In reality there is but one power; the power of God. When we only acknowledge the existence of one Power, we deny evil, for it is the recognition of another source of power outside of God's only power that creates the false reality of 'evil'.

We don’t surrender because we haven’t truly acknowledge the extent of God’s power.

Think about the concept of Infinite power. When we trust in it the power of the universe is made available to us, and there are no limits to what it can do through us and for us. It is important to know that God desires perfect expression through us by the revelation and manifestation of his divine power. However we often interfere with this divine plan for our lives because of fear and lack of trust.

We don’t really believe that God is able to work out everything for the good of those who love him. We love God when we trust his divine plan for our lives and believe in his infinite wisdom to lead and guide us to the perfect ideas that will bring about perfect order in our lives.

When we fail to recognize God’s infinite power and wisdom as our true guide it is impossible for us to trust in Him wholeheartedly. Though we may say we trust or believe in God, however action speaks louder than words. We may say so but in reality we don’t mean it because each time we say we surrender we don’t wait for his divine guidance, we become anxious and impatient and end up taking matters into our own hands. Which may result in us making foolish and unwise decisions out of fear.

To truly surrender is to wait for divine guidance. Though it may seem hard to wait at times because the human mind is accustomed to quick fixes and quick manifestations. God is infinite being and power. You may think of one possible way to reach a certain goal or to manifest a certain desire, though that way may seem logical or realistic in human terms and wisdom, know that God is infinite possibilities and for this reason you must learn to trust his wisdom to lead you always. Doing so will cause you to always be inspired and know what to do next.

To truly surrender is to listen to our heart and allow God's voice and power to lead us.

We know God’s will for our lives through our hearts desires. Many people would say 'I don’t know what God’s will is for my life'. What they are really saying is 'I don’t know how to listen to my self'. Meaning the higher self and not the small egocentric voice of the lower self that is manipulative and controlling. If you listen and obey to that small voice you will attract many disharmonies in your lives and affairs.

You must therefore learn to differentiate from those two voices until you completely recognize the Voice for Truth which speaks of love and seeks to help you realize God’s divine will for your life. Ultimately God desires that we experience unending and complete happiness through perfect love. God’s love encompasses the well being of all.

When you feel compelled to do something to improve the life of others and to make this planet a better place to live know that you are listening to the True voice, which is the indwelling Holy Spirit in you, as he seeks to unfold God’s divine will to and through you.

Therefore learn to Be still and listen to that voice and you will always know what to do and how to do it. Know that the same power that is causing such beauty and harmony in the entire universe is available to you right now and has always been. It is up to you to believe that the same force that is making the seasons alternate, the planets rotate and everything else from the tiniest cells in your body to the greatest elements in the universe in such perfect order can also revolutionize your mind and lead you to perfect God realization and manifestations. This is his divine will, plan and purpose for your life and don't you settle for anything less.

Won’t you trust in that power today and allow it to lead and guide you to your heart’s truest desires? Do so right now. Tomorrow will take care of itself.

Today trust and surrender. There is nothing to fear. Simply look within and around you and acknowledge his infinite and definite power at work in the universe and in you. You may not know as of yet what to do in order to come out of a certain situation or how to solve a particular problem. But know this you can choose to trust God right now to lead you and show you how.

Spiritual Ecstasy

We all have experienced such a state at one point or another, though we may not recall. Spiritual ecstasy occurred a lot when we were babies or little children. It is a state of complete innocence, sheer beauty and divine love. It is a time of laughter and joy. We did not have a care in the world; for in such a state there are no worries, no pains, no ills, and no consciousness of evil and lack.

We were at one with pure consciousness, divine love, light and life. And in that reality there were complete wholeness, total well-being and perfect Self-expression. There was nothing to fear, nor anything to resist, there was only divine peace and love.

And later on as we grow up our divine nature slowly begins to get corrupted by our environment and the world thought system; which has caused fear to arise in our consciousness. Fear is the opposite of love and the root of many evils. It is negative faith. Fear is the belief in some opposite force or outside power that can harm us or affect us.

Because of such erroneous belief we slowly attract in our reality negative experiences which in the long run will cause us to deny our true nature and origin. And we begin to conform to the world negative belief in sin, sickness, lack, and poverty. We end up forgetting our real home, the place whence we came from.

Spiritual ecstasy is a spirit call to return home and experience Eden all over again. It is a pure desire to unite our mind with God’s mind. It all begins with a willingness to let go of the false reality this world offers, and to deny the adverse circumstances we may be experiencing, whether it is some type of lack, illness, or bad habits. You must believe that those are the characteristics of the false ego personality; which is the nature that has taken birth due to the world negative consciousness. You must realize that your true nature and your perfect self expression are awaiting on you to manifest. God is waiting on you to make the decision to come home and Christ is eager to take you there.

You haven’t experienced spiritual ecstasy simply because you have denied the Spirit's call. The Spirit is always calling, just as He is calling you right now. If you would only open your heart and simply say 'yes' and allow him to show you the wonders you are made of; your true nature and origin.

You can experience this right now if you would for a moment take a deep cleansing breath and slowly exhale as you become only conscious of God. In that pure awareness think of infinite love and goodness, think of everlasting life, think of complete happiness, and unending joy. Ponder on what it will be like to experience perfect peace and not having a care in the world. Allow yourself to delve into that reality.

Furthermore see all your problems resolved, see no more pain, sickness and lack. Then lose yourself awhile in that visualization. Acknowledge the existence of only ONE Power and it is divine. Let that pure energy overtake your mind, fill your heart and let the feeling of inner peace, security and love enfold and envelope your entire beingness. There is nothing to fear.

This is spiritual ecstasy. It is experiencing heaven on earth. You can experience this as often as you would like and as you are consistent with this practice the Spirit will lead you further to experiencing more wholeness and peace.

Love is the essence of all that is. It is therefore all encompassing. It is the power of the universe made manifest through various expressions. Love is the unifying force that brings perfect harmony from the cells of our bodies to the various elements of the universe. It is, however Man’s perfect self-expression. It is the free flow of the divine essence in Man. Love is the underlying cause of all that is.

Love is essentially divine. It is the pure energy that causes us to move, to live and to have our being. Love is of God. It is the original consciousness from which all things and all lives emanate.

Love is the informative intelligent life principle that is currently at work in your body. It is what is causing you to breathe, making your heart beat and directing the movement of every cell, organ and tissue in your body creating perfect bodily function. Love is the invisible force that is causing the trees and the plant to grow, the sun, the moon and the seasons to alternate and the earth to rotate. Love is the every where present principle of Causation that harmonizes everything around us giving us joy and contentment.

Love is you, love is me. It is inherent in our 'beingness'. Love needs to be recognized and not sought after. Love is within and not without. We are the expressions of Love for we are of God. We came forth from love and can only love.

Love is our natural inclination. You will notice that in a case of a natural disaster people are often moved with compassion to donate and to help however they can. However we can allow that free flow of the divine essence to continuously flow through us and not just in certain unfortunate cases. We only need to recognize and remove those things that often block Love's awareness in us and others. Those are envy, jealousy, hatred, unforgiveness and the likes.

The truth is nothing can separate us from the love of God. Apostle Paul wrote:

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Nothing can separate us from the love of God for cause and effect are inseperable. God is our First Cause and we are the emanation of God. Cause and effects are two ends of the same stick. We are truly his image and likeness. In Truth we are not different from God, for we are his likeness. He is love and we are also love.

You can practice love in everything that you do and everywhere you may be. Begin by acknowledging God’s presence within, by paying attention to your breath. Recognize the pure energy that is causing you to inhale and exhale, praise the God-life in you. Acknowledge the same divine presence in others and also in the universe. When you are out in nature, or just out driving or doing errands pay attention to the trees, flowers, and people and recognize the underlying life principle that causes them to exist. These are the expressions of divine love. These are 'you' in multiple forms.

Love breaks the wall of separation and brings unity within the soul that acknowledges its presence. It unites us with God and with every aspect of creation. It causes us to see only good in others, thus awakening them to their divine nature. The more aware we become of this divine essence in us, the more aware we are of God. The more aware we are of God the more we are connected to our source and become like our source.

How to be happier in 2009!

There are so many books, articles and other writings on self-help, religion, spirituality and the likes. Yes indeed there are countless resources outside of ourselves to point us to the ‘way’ to happiness or more fulfillment. Nevertheless right within each one of us there is a sure guide. This source of pure enlightenment is inherent in all of us. This means we don’t need to go get it, we were already born with it.

The sad truth is we are more likely to seek for the answers to life many questions by first relying on outer resources. It is because we have not trained our minds to trust our inner guide. Some of us are not even aware of this infinite source of wisdom that is closer to us than our own breath! Can you imagine that!

Think on this for a moment. Let’s say since you were born you have inherited some great wealth, however no one has ever told you of this great inheritance growing up. So you end up living in lack and scarcity and at times you had to even beg for food or work extremely hard to make ends meet. You have toiled and endured many hardships due to your own ignorance.

Now let’s say one day you come across some old documents, perhaps a will. You suddenly discover that you have inherited enough money and wealth to keep you out of the bondage of lack for good! What would you do next? I bet your reaction will be, how can I have access to this wealth!

There is a great wealth of wisdom within each of us. We only need to know how to tap into it. Think also on this, would a manufacturer make a product and not include inside the box a ‘user’s guide’? In the same Manner there is a ‘How to Guide’ within us. God our Maker, in his great wisdom and infinite love has placed within each and every single one of us an Unerring Guide. It is up to us to acknowledge this to be true and to experience it for ourselves.

I know there are times when we underestimate our abilities because of the impact of the world negative consciousness. It has crippled our innate abilities to find and rely on our inner strength, beauty, wisdom, and love. The world has trained us to seek for happiness, peace, love and joy where they can’t be found, meaning on things outside of us; things that are deceiving for they can only offer temporal enjoyment. At first they may seem as if they will provide some lasting results but to soon realize that your thirst and longing for true happiness have merely deepened.

You can put an end to all the confusions you may be experiencing right now and you may begin to seek within your own heart and trust in your innate abilities to find the answers that you need right now. If you are like the majority of us you are probably more accustomed in seeking refuge on the things without. Whether through your accomplishments, your daily routines, through books and other inspirational means. At this moment, yes right now I want to invite you to escape these realities and find a refuge instead within.

I want to invite you to put the remote control of your life on pause just for a few moment. Yes I know this life has its many demands, there are countless duties, goals, and your to-do list is waiting for you because there are no one else that can do what you do. However these things will still be waiting on you for they are endless, therefore it is better to prepare yourself and gather the strength that you need in order to face these responsibilities.

Some of the greatest moments and the most productive ones are those spent alone, and the highest honesty is the one towards self. The answer to how to find more happiness in 2009 lies right within your own heart. There is not a one size fits all formula to finding more fulfillment in life. That answer is unique for each individual. You must be brave enough and assess your own reality, that is the ‘world’ you have created for yourself and the experiences you have attracted in your life and find out whether or not they are producing the kind of results you were hoping for, in other words ask yourself: "Am I truly happy?".

Once you find the answer to that first question, you may than ask: "how do I find more happiness in the year ahead?" If you pause for a moment and wait in silence and hear from within your own heart you will truly find your answer. Simply trust your Inner Wisdom and Guidance, who is your Higher Self, the Christ within.

As the year is coming to an end...

Now is the time to get our questions answered. There is not a time that we call on God and earnestly seek Him that He does not answer us. As the year is drawing to an end we may want to consider seeking God's face (His Wisdom) in seeking the answers to some of life most important questions. Especially those related to some of the goals we may have sought to have fulfilled this year.

As we reflect on those goals, however it is important that we do not judge or make our own assumptions due to our own limited perception. But rather let us trust that God who is capable of seeing the end from the beginning is able to keep us from falling and that is unfailing love will continuously sustain us.

As the year is drawing to an end, make every moment count as you enter into the new year. Choose life instead of death; look beyond every obstacle and see opportunities for growth and strength. Choose love instead of judgment; look beyond your brother 'sins' and connect to his true nature, thus recognizing your own.

"Daddy, what is this?"

Unless we become like little children we cannot enter the kingdom of God. Not just children, but little ones. Jesus also taught that such kingdom is within men. It is the secret place that is inherent in every soul. However many people ignore this truth. Jesus refers to the kingdom within him as being the father in Him. It is the divine presence of God also called the eternity in Man. We all have access and can enter this quiet place within. It is a place of refuge and of stillness and peacefulness. This kingdom is man's true guide.

The key is we must first become like little children, meaning we must return to our authenticity which is our original consciousness of innocence and purity. Along with an eagerness to learn and be a happy learner. Little children souls are virgin. Meaning they have not yet been infected or domesticated by the world negative consciousness. This means that their souls are open and vulnerable. There is no resistance due to former beliefs or perception.

We all have certain beliefs and principles that we currently live by based on our education, upbringing, and personal experiences. Those beliefs control our lives whether we are aware of this fact or not. Whatever we have been taught or learned throughout the course of our lives have affected our consciousness. Our consciousness, which comprises our thoughts and feelings, shape our existence.

We have the capacity to change the course of our existence by becoming like little children. By trusting the fount of wisdom within us, our unerring guide. Many of us are seeking the answers to life many questions, but are not looking within. Though the world system has failed us many times we stubbornly turn to its false light for direction or guidance while the true fountain of light and life is closer to us than our own breath.

Even if you think you already know the Truth or believe that you are on the right path it does not hurt to turn to the Father within, for His Truth is an eternal revelation that continuously reveals and unfolds to higher dimensions. The key is each time you desire to enter the kingdom within you must pretend as if you don't know anything and say: Daddy what is that? What is the meaning of life? What is my life Purpose? Daddy what am I?.

Simply begin by posing simple questions and believe and wait while you are in that secret place. I guarantee you in that state of mind you will hear new revelations of truth. You can even ask the same questions and each day God will unfold it to you further and further. His wisdom knows no bounds.

Commune with the father within, he is the true source of that everlasting joy, love and peace that you desire and deserve. His love surrounds and envelops you and there is nothing to fear. Papa God is always with you and you are never alone. Next time you are confronted with a challenging situation, an adverse thought or some kind of conflicts, quickly acknowledge God's presence within, which is Love Presence within and as a little child trust daddy to hear you and answer you as His love strengthens, guides and protects you.

Every Conflict is within...

And must be resolved there. When we feel conflicted we often shift our attention outward instead of inward. This is a big mistake! When we experience a conflict of some sort we must embrace it and see in it an opportunity for learning and spiritual growth. And this is possible only when we desire to find peace within rather than without.

Whenever adverse feelings arise from our subconscious it is usually an indication that something has gone wrong within our innermost being. Our heart will always tell us of its condition, for it is our willing and faithful servant. Our heart longs for inner peace and for this reason it insists on getting it by communicating to us through our feelings.

When negative feelings arise it usually awakes negative emotions such as fear, doubt, envy, jealousy, hatred and the likes; which are some of the characteristics of the false ego. Our false ego personality would tempt us to seek to get resolved by having what I like to call ‘attack thoughts’ towards others in and effort to find peace within.

Unless our mind is renewed in truth we cannot trust the guidance of our intellect, which is the conscious mind. It is our erroneous guide. And that is where the false ego whispers lies that lead us to error and to more heartache.

Unless we have completely subjected our minds to the learning of Truth and have entrusted ourselves to the Guidance of Spirit, our true teacher and our unerring guide, we must not listen to ourselves, for the false ego have trained the intellect to reason erroneously.

As I have mentioned in some of my recent articles, the false ego personality is the character of the mind that has been infected by the negative consciousness of this world. The wisdom of this world is contaminated by the prince of this world (AKA the devil or Lucifer), he is a false light that is continuously seeking to guide Man in darkness. It is this darkness of ignorance that has blinded us of our true identity in Christ, who is the true light that came to awaken us and enlighten our path to Inner Peace.

The bible refers to this false wisdom or light as being ‘the god of this world', and continues to add that "it hath blinded the minds of them which believe not”. Speaking of those of us who have ignored their true identity in God. When we identify ourselves with the false ego personality, we deny the Christ within and our true nature. This false personality is enmity to God, for it denies our true origin in Him. It seeks to judge and condemn others and us and will inevitably keep the light of Christ in us hidden or dim. Its ultimate goal is to destroy us.

Therefore we must be continuously alert by paying close attention to our feelings and the conflicts we experience inside our hearts. Those adverse feelings reveal the character of the false ego personality and when they arise it is an opportunity to put on the New Man that is renewed in knowledge of Truth.

We must incessantly deny the false ego of its erroneous suggestions and demands. We must not yield to his false wisdom and lies that have taught us that our brothers are the real enemies and that have lead us to condemn them and find them guilty. Or else we will never experience the radical changes that will transform our lives for good.

Be ye not deceived! When you feel conflicted within it is an opportunity for inner change. Railing at life or condemning others or blaming them for your adverse feelings or circumstances is completely foolish. Instead be courageous and check your heart and look for the root cause of the adverse feelings that usually bring about a lack of peace. In doing so you will silent the voice of the real enemy (Lucifer), and triumph over sin (darkness).

Taking control of your life

The human mind is accustomed to assuming and thinking the worse possible outcome specially when facing crisis, challenges or adverse situations. This results in the tendency to complicate life and make matters worse. This is why we must train our mind to think differently and our heart to imagine and feel good. That is how we gain control of our lives and attract the circumstances that we truly deserve.

I mean everyone wants to be happy and wants to live a peaceable and enjoyable life, and that is why we do the things that we do. However we sabotage our own lives when we are not conscious of how we are living or creating. A lot of us are living by default. By this I mean some of us merely exist because they are living unconsciously. Such people take life as it appears to be, and surrender to a life of unhappiness and misery because they believe they are powerless in changing their current life circumstances. Such belief is completely false.

It is true that our consciousness is affected by everything that we hear, see, think and do. However it is the things that we invest our faith in or believe that we attract in our life experiences. Once you begin to think and feel differently you will inevitably believe and create differently.

The world at large is infected by a negative thought system. It is very rare to come across people who are enthusiastic, innovative, creative and positive. This is why it is up to each individual to desire and to strive to retrain his own mindsets. This is accurately done through the process of unlearning and relearning. This development requires one’s willingness and desire to change. It is most effective when surrounded by the right people.

There is a French adage that says: “Dis-moi qui tu frequentes et je te dirai qui tu es”. The best translation I can come up with is this: Tell me who you hang out with and I will tell you what kind of person you are or your lifestyle. This encompasses the thoughts we entertain, the materials we read, and the kind of programs we watch on television.

The process of retraining the mind to think positively and the heart to feel and imagine good will initially require that one make some basic changes in his every day living. If you are serious about creating the life that guarantees happiness and peace you may need to stop reading some materials, stop watching some movies or programs, or stop hanging out with some friends.

Instead of relying on fate, you can create the experiences that you deserve beginning now. The question is: are you willing to take control of your own life?

Happiness is...

We define something according to our level of understanding of that thing. What happiness may mean to one individual will be different for another. A lot of it also has to do with our culture, traditions, religious beliefs and other personal beliefs. But I strongly believe that as one begins to grow in spiritual understanding and knowledge his perception will also change and he will inevitably begin to see everything in a new light. Understanding gives light.

What does Happiness mean to you personally? It all broils down to your individual perspective, belief and desire. Some of us believe that true happiness is a myth or that it is impossible for one to really experience Happiness. Others have surrendered to the popular belief that life is difficult and has ups and downs. And consequently they have attracted the experiences that conform to their belief system.

If you seek to know the true definition of Life you will also find the real definition of happiness. A limited understanding of the meaning of life results in a limited expression of life and therefore happiness.

What is the meaning of life? To understand LIFE you must understand REALITY. Minister Alain Yaovi Dagba in a recent article wrote: "The meaning of REALITY is the meaning of life". This level of understanding requires that one acknowledge God as the First Cause of ALL THAT IS. This awareness is the first step in acquiring spiritual understanding. It allows one to shift from the apparent reality of things (things that we can experience through our body senses) and to connect to their substantial reality, thus connecting to God.

The meaning of Life is Reality. Reality is essentially God. Happiness is God. Your level of understanding of Life determines your level of awareness of God and your level of awareness of God determines your level of experience of True and lasting happiness. Therefore seek first to know and understand the underlying Cause and nature of all that exists. Connect to the indestructible life force that holds all things together, and Happiness will be knocking at your door.

Embracing Life’s many challenges

To embrace a negative situation is to have complete dominion over it. You control the situation instead of letting it take over your life. Pondering about the situation over and over in your own mind alone will cause anxiety and will inevitably make it worse. As soon as a challenge arises it is better to surrender it to God immediately through prayer and spiritual meditation.

It is also very good to have a couple of positive affirmations in mind when fear and doubt wants to creep in your mind, such as: this too shall pass and I am on my way to it. Or thinking about the situation you may say: the best is yet to come; you may add: God is aware of this situation and his love upholds, prospers and protects everyone involved and myself.

Another way to embrace life challenges is to stop thinking that fate has dealt you a bad hand. People surrender to a life of pain and suffering because they refuse to embrace life challenges. Difficult situations will arise. This is inevitable. The difference is in how we perceive and handle them. We have the power to change any circumstances when we change the way we look at them. You can change the character of any challenges by changing your mental attitude about them. The ball is always in your court!

Some people when a challenging situation arises instead of thinking positively and imaging the best possible outcome they assume and picture the worst. What they fail to understand is the power of the imaging faculty. Florence Shinn refers to the imaging faculty as the scissors of the mind; always cutting the images that are found there and sooner or later out picture them in our bodies and affairs.

Apostle James, one of the writers of the New Testament wrote: consider it pure joy when you face trials of many kinds. One will wonder how is this possible? He is teaching us how to have mastery over life circumstances. Think about this not just one trial, but many trials of many kinds. You could be facing many different crises right now in your life but what will make the difference at the end is how you look at them.

Two people could be facing the same challenges but are handling them differently; they will undoubtedly have two different outcomes. It all broils down to your mental attitude. All begins in Mind and everything is mental. Our thoughts and feelings affect everything in our lives and attract in our daily experiences situations and people that are in same vibrational match to our beliefs system. You must believe that life is designed to be good and that whatever challenges you may be currently facing are here to teach you something new.

Life is your teacher, be a good student. Be willing to learn and Instead of being downcast, railing and condemning your life or the people therein you should bless it and affirm that it is good. Furthermore see every challenge as an opportunity to learn new truths and to develop spiritual. Ask: what can I learn through this situation, what is life teaching me right now? Be open to learn and be a happy learner. Stay positive even if things seem to get worse. No matter what don’t lose your joy. Pure joy has nothing to do with outside circumstances. It is a mental decision to use your innate ability to find a quiet refuge within no matter what is going on without.

Recognizing the false ego-personality

A lot of people are unhappy with the experiences they have attracted into their lives, however they feel powerless in changing their life circumstances. The problem is they don’t really know where to begin. Well it starts here my friend: Knowing thyself.

Self-awareness is the beginning of true transformation. This requires learning, which at times involves reading and studying spiritual texts and materials. This is why those of us who do not read and learn are less intelligent and less powerful in creating the life they deserve than those of us who do. Learning leads us to enlightenment and empowerment. Those who have stop learning have settled for a life of mediocrity and are easily affected by the world negative consciousness of lack, poverty, sickness and death. Knowledge is power, knowing thyself is even more powerful!

So we all came into this world as little babies, full of love, life, laughter, innocence and beauty. Slowly but surely we begin to get ‘domesticated’, that is we begin to be influenced by the world collective consciousness, whether at home, school, the society or just the environment we grew up in. As we continue to emerge in society we begin to put on a certain personality.

This personality is the direct result of our beliefs systems, which in fact are not truly our own for we have been affected by other people beliefs. They did not emerge from our authenticity or our divine self. Nevertheless we have adopted them as our own and those beliefs inevitably begin to shape our character.

Everything that we have experienced or witnessed as we were growing up also affects our beliefs and consequently our lives. For example if someone was raised in a society that believes that women are lesser than men, this belief will affects his/her personality until that mindset is changed. Or consider a child who continuously experienced violence at home, this child might turn out to be an angry or violent person as he/she grows up.

So what happened to that sweet innocent, loving baby I mentioned earlier? The wisdom of this world slowly corrupts our divine nature and consequently the false ego personality erects in our consciousness and begins to rule over our lives. Anything that does not witness to our authenticity is false and must be denied. A lot of people identify themselves with the false ego and begin to make statements such as: well that is just me, that is who I am, or I have always been like this; but who told you so? They have believed in such lies for so long that they have failed to search for their true origin and identify. And that ignorance has caused many to miss the mark, or sin meaning they are separated in consciousness from the True Light that has brought them forth.

The truth is we are not those false personalities; we are not the false images that our erroneous thought patterns and beliefs have painted in our subconscious (heart) over the years. Unless we acknowledge and embrace this truth about ourselves we will not seek to know who we truly are and we will not change or attract those happy circumstances. We were created in the image and likeness of God and that settles it. We are authentically divine and were made to create like God and to be like him.

Though we have put on several false personalities, in our true nature or divine nature we have not changed. The life of God in us, which is the breath of God in every person that came into this world, is eternal and unalterable. It is our True Self. This is why the bible teaches to put on the new Self, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him. It is the Christ-Self that Jesus came to awaken in each one of us. He is the Light that took us out of darkness. He is the the true light that reveals our divine self.

This scripture afore mentioned brought me back to the point I was making in the beginning of this article, the new Self must be renewed in the Knowledge of God. If you don’t know your creator, who is the light (wisdom) and the life (Power) that has brought you into existence you will inevitably ignore your true Self; for that is the self that is created in His image and likeness. It is the real you that has been hidden under the darkness of illusions of the false self. Your divine nature awaits your recognition in other to manifest.

Today begin by denying the false ego personality its demands. When certain thoughts or images submerge from the subconscious that are not in alignment with your true identity immediately put them to flight, by claiming your innocence, beauty and love. Those thoughts and images are easy to notice for they are usually negative and destructive. You may negate them from your consciousness by simply acknowledging God’s presence in you, which is your divine nature. As you acknowledge your own breath you may come to that awareness; the awareness of the divine presence within you.

Above anything else desire to learn about your true identity and origin and God will do the rest. This desire will become a strong magnetic force that will attract into your life and experiences all that you need in order to discover the truth about your DIVINE SELF.

Intended for LOVE

When something is not being used for the purpose for which it was intended it gets abused. Abuse means abnormal use. You were created and intended for love, which means you were created and intended for God, for HE IS LOVE. You came forth from love and were specifically designed to operate and function in love; God’s love. And God says, "Let us make man in our image and likeness", meaning to love and give love. We can all agree that you cannot give something that you don’t have. You must first have something in your possession before you can give it away.

You originate from an exhaustible source of Love, which is God. God created you with the intention that you will become so lavished and content in his love that you should not need anything for his love is sufficient, it is more than enough, and therefore you shall not want anything.

The human soul was purposely designed to function in perfect oneness with the source from whence it came from. Our soul was made to know God. The word ‘know’ here means to have a personal relationship with, which is only possible from having an experiential knowledge of God. This is true intimacy. Apart from God’s genuine love, anything else the soul will experience is a counterfeit.

Without this deep and intimate relationship with its creator, the human soul begins to experience starvation. It begins to feel ‘love sick' and longs for relationship, companionship, intimacy and love outside its temple, meaning from the world. And because it is not acquainted with what true love is, it erroneously accepts 'cheap' love for true love. And unfortunately the human soul, which is the heart, then experiences many heartaches and abuse. The human heart is designed to first experience true love that can only be found in God.

Many people go from one relationship to the next or from divorce to divorce in search of true love because the soul won’t settle for anything less. Some people long to be married because they yearn for unconditional love. This is because the soul was intended for love.

While there is nothing wrong with desiring to be in a relationship or to be married, it is a big mistake however to believe that the source of love is to be found without. The everlasting spring of love, which is God presence in you, is located right within the human heart. Why would it be anywhere else, one may wonder. Love must be found where God is.

"I will be found by you says the Lord if you search me with all your heart". Unfortunately many people use all of their mind, strength and energy in pursuit for love where it cannot be found, and it is sadly very foolish. Or some look for material needs to fulfill the emptiness the soul experiences without God’s love. Others indulge in sensual pleasures in order to ease the loneliness of the heart. These temporary enjoyments leave the heart yearning and desiring more for it is intended for true, genuine and everlasting love.

God’s love is not just a feeling, it is something that the human soul experiences as it acknowledges and completely relies on God’s presence and strength within for all its needs. God’s love is a surge of emotions that result as our soul is completely lavished through this oneness. In this divine intimacy our heart melts with God’s heart and commune with him. It is something that can only be experienced through sonship or divine relationship.

The more you desire to know God, the more He will reveal himself to you. The more you experience God’s love the more your soul will yearn for more of his love, for it can only be satisfied with the best. In the same token the less you desire to know God, the more your soul will starve for true love and because it is not acquainted with God’s love, it will settle for cheap love and gets hurt.

Today no matter where you may be in your seeking to know God or your personal relationship with him, know that you are intended to know him more personally. God desires relationship and sonship. He wants your heart and that is all that He truly needs from you. God has everything else; he just wants a relationship with you. Therefore open up your heart and acknowledge his Presence and Goodness in your heart and life and receive from this everlasting and inexhaustible spring of Genuine love until you want no more. Once you possess enough of God’s love you can then lavish this love upon others. In your relationships you will seek to give rather than to receive love, for you are now rooted and established in God (in love), and are eternally being supplied from a source that is inexhaustible.

Remember you are intended to experience pure, genuine and unconditional love. Don’t you settle for less! Claim all the love that is yours by divine right today!

Transcending the ego

The ego in itself is good. It allows us to personally identify our beingness, and it enables us to make some logical distinctions between ourselves and others. For that reason we must not destroy the ego, but rather transcend it.

The ego is first of all concerned with me, myself and I. We naturally think of our best interests and we look out for our own advantages. In other words the ego’ s primary concern is: ‘what’s in it for me’ for it was programmed to primarily function in this manner. And even if it were to fail us the society or the environment we grow up in will surely teach how to look out for oneself, which in the long run can cause dissension and division.

Religion has tried for centuries to unite souls through the bond of genuine love, but in spite of its many efforts, has failed in this endeavor. Breaking the barriers of wrongful egoful desires and ambitions that lead to division and separation is a personal choice and pursuit rather than a collective one. This encompasses the process of spiritualization. It is the soul’s journey to God realization and the true path to inner peace and joy.

When you transcend the ego you are not only concerned about yourself, but you are also mindful of your family, community and the society at large. Your utmost desire is to see others succeed and achieve their dreams and goals. You literally see yourself in everyone and I can even say that you become everyone else for you have destroyed the wall of separateness through consciousness. As a matter of fact you become like God; for God’s infinite love and goodness looks on all as one.

When you transcend the ego you bestow Christ’s love on everyone without judgments and discrimination. For you understand that judging others is judging yourself, since you have united your soul with the heart of your brothers and love them as you love yourself. There is no longer, me, myself and I, but rather you begin to think in terms such as: what’s in it for all of us. Every decision you will make in the future you will think about how it will affect others or how it will impact their lives.

When you transcend the ego you begin to live on purpose. For the real purpose of God’s spirit journeying through and in you is to realize God and this is done by becoming one or by unifying your soul with your brothers through pure love.

In today’s practice look on all as you would look on yourself.
Transcend or look beyond your brother’s ‘sins’ and connect to his soul where the light of Christ shines (perhaps dim.)
Today connect to your ‘enemy’s’ heart where true love exists.
Whatever you desire for one or for yourself also wish it for others.
Rejoice when others rejoice, together we can make this planet a better place to live.

What do you, really, really KNOW?

Have you recently pondered on this awhile? Have you asked yourself what do you really know about yourself, others, God or how things work? We can easily misinterpret what we have heard, taught, or read about for what we actually know. I am talking here about acquiring experiential knowledge that leads to practical wisdom. It is what you know and have experienced personally that will set you free from lack of peace and joy.

What do you know besides the apparent reality the world of forms convey? Have you sought to look beyond the appearance and to connect to the underlying cause or nature of things, people, animals, and the universe? Have you wondered about the invisible force, which is the life intelligence that causes the moon and the sun to alternate along with the seasons? Have you thought about the human anatomy and asked yourself about this intelligent and informative life principle in every cell of your body that causes each one to work so harmoniously giving you perfect bodily function?

There is a Teacher within each one of us; He is the Voice of God within. He patiently awaits our inquiries in order to intervene in our lives and lead us to the path of perfect peace. If we don’t find the answers to life many questions it is simply because we haven’t stopped to ask or haven’t paid attention to His Voice. There is a truth to know about everything in life. But only those who diligently seek will find. There is a reality beyond the apparent reality that we perceive through our body eyes. It is the reality of the Kingdom of God within. It is the substantial reality from which all things emanate.

Seek therefore to know and experience the Truth that will make you free from the world of limitations, lack, poverty, sin and sickness the world of forms offer. Be determined to know and adhere to the Truth that will illumine your path to everlasting peace and joy. It is a personal journey. You must not be contented with merely what you have heard, taught, or read. Ponder on things in your own mind; seek to get revelation knowledge from Spirit within. Expand what you believe you already know through meditation and get wisdom.

Make today the beginning of a new personal quest to know the Truth experientially. As you come across some things, or people throughout your daily activities ask: "what do I really know about this thing, or that person?" or you may Say: "I am determined to know the truth that lies beyond the appearance". In this simple practice you are inviting the Spirit of God to quicken the eyes of your understanding. Consequently your mind and heart are opened to receive inspiration from above and to know the true and easy path to unending joy and perfect peace.

Let God be God!

When God is in control, EVERYTHING is under control!

Our predominant thoughts control our reality. And we are in control of our thoughts. However we become all powerful only when our thoughts are in complete alignment with Universal Mind Power. It is in this POWER do all things consist and hold together. When our intentions are in the same vibrational resonance with Divine Mind, we got God on our side and with Him all things are possible. In that consciousness we no longer see limitations or feel powerless when facing adversities, for we solely rely on God’s invincible power.

We see limitations when we fail to seek God. But when we acknowledge His omnipotence and invoke His omnipresence we unite our mind with the Divine. It is in this oneness that we receive clarity and guidance. We are quickened within and simply know the right actions to take concerning a certain decision, situation or condition.

The problem with the majority of us is this: we become so consumed with the adverse situation or condition that we are currently facing that it begins to cloud our consciousness and the idea of being still and calling upon God for help becomes very distant. However it is precisely in that instance must we use every fiber of our being and cry out to God, who is an ever-present help in time of need.

Today no matter what the challenge maybe, know that you and God are majority. You only need to make a firm decision to cast the burden that has been weighing you down upon the Christ within, for He cares for you. Perhaps you or a loved one is going through a tough time. Instead of pondering on the problem in your own mind surrender it to God. Let Him be in control.

God knows exactly what need to be done, and the best way to carry it out into completion. His divine love encompasses all that concerns you and your loved ones. Then once you have completely surrendered, learn to let go and let God. If after you have completed all these steps you feel lead within to take any necessary actions, then be sure to follow your intuitive lead, who is the Voice of the Spirit of God within and your unerring guide. Otherwise do not interfere with the activities of the Spirit of God in your life or the lives of your loved ones. In other words let God be God. Let Him be in control and everything will be under control.

You may say: "in the situation involving (name person or situation)I choose to let God be God" or
"I will not interfere with the Activities of Spirit in my life or in the life of my loved one (name loved one)"

We are all made of the same 'God-stuff'

THE POWER OF ONENESS

In spirit and in truth we are one, for there is only One God and He is omnipresent. Meaning GOD is within each and every single one of us. He is in you as He is in me. Therefore in truth you are ‘me’, and I am ‘you’. In reality there is no distinction. We are one.

The differences in physical appearances are nothing but illusions; in essence we are of the same God and are made of the same ‘God-stuff’.The false belief that we are different and separate from one another is the first darkness that must be dissolved in our consciousness if we are to experience complete freedom and perfect peace. Furthermore this erroneous mindset is the cause of the disharmonies many people experience in their homes, relationships, bodies and affairs. When we understand that fundamentally we are one no matter the apparent differences in skin color, title, geographical location, ethnicity or race, we are free from the race belief in separateness and division.

This freedom causes the life force in us, which is our divine nature, to freely express and manifest itself through us toward others. This divine life is the power of Love that recognizes everyone as they are and not as they appear to be. When we become one with this force it compels us to love and treat others as we would like to be loved and to be treated. Furthermore this power causes us to project ourselves in others and to see our own image in them, thus loving them as we love ourselves.

When we fail to recognize God as the underlying cause or the life principle in all that exists, we deny God’s omnipresence, and this ignorance keeps us in bondage. When we ignore the fundamental truths of our origin, and our cause we deny our oneness with God and with one another, and consequently we become subject to pain, confusion and suffering.

However, when we understand that God is the source of all life and the life generator of all that is, we acknowledge his presence everywhere. And this acknowledgment is the beginning of wisdom. This truth awakens our awareness to our inner guidance and enlightens the true and easy path to our life purpose and destiny. Furthermore it destroys the illusive wall of separation that has kept us apart from our creator and our brothers.

Today embody oneness! Unite yourself with your brother in consciousness. Salute and praise the divine life in every soul you meet today whether in your mind or during your daily interactions. Make an attempt to go beyond the appearance and connect with everyone’s true nature, or essence. In doing so you are sending forth vibrations of divine love, which is the highest vibratory force that exists, and the love that you send forth is that which you keep.

Giving what you want to receive

Giving what you want to receive fulfills the principle of giving and receiving; in order to have something we must be willing to give it away. Freely you receive and freely you also must give. Whatsoever a man soweth that also he shall reap.

Today sow seeds of love, and appreciation. Today give a smile, or a hug. Today return a friend's email or call an old buddy of yours. Today take time to listen to others and be compassionate and understanding. Today send a thank you card, or buy a small gift for someone. A little something can go a long way. Today be mindful of others. A little gesture can make a great impact in someone else's life. You never know what others may be going through in their personal lives, therefore be conscious of others and listen to their heart.

Don't underestimate the power in doing the seemingly 'small things'.

Experiencing Radical Changes

True transformation occurs in the core of our being’ness; which is our soul. The human soul or spirit is made of thoughts and feelings, which comprise our consciousness. We are sentient beings, meaning we are thinking and feeling beings.

Everything begins in the invisible realm of the mind, therefore the radical changes we desire must also start there. We all have access to the same universal mind power, for everything that exists, the universe and its inhabitants originate from the same source. And in this power do all things consist and hold together. However, throughout the whole creation only human beings have been endowed with the ability to create. Which means as free beings we can attract through our thoughts whatsoever we desire.

Our beliefs influence our personalities, and our personalities influence our experiences. Our thoughts and feelings are constantly shaping our lives whether we realize this or not. And we are the sole creators of our ‘reality’. We attract everything in our reality first through our thoughts, then through our feelings, and next through our beliefs. We first think a thought, next we emotionalize it through feelings, and then we believe it. And whatever we invest our faith in we are attracting into our lives.

If your current beliefs are not bringing about the kind of experiences that you deserve, you must therefore begin to think, believe and create differently. This is only possible when you seek to acquire higher truths and knowledge.

The more truths you know the more powerful you become in creating the life that you deserve. When you ignore the spiritual principles that govern the universe and its inhabitants, including you, you become subject to the world negative consciousness in lack, poverty, limitations, sin, sickness and death.

Everything that you need in order to heal your heart, transform your mind and revolutionize your life lies within you. Everything begins with thoughts. If you are willing to change your thought-patterns and beliefs systems, you will undoubtedly change your life. If you seek to acquire the ultimate truths and knowledge that will enlighten the path to wholeness, fulfillment and happiness you shall surely find them. All that is required of you is your whole heart.

Practice Perfection

We habitually believe in imperfection. However every form of habit can be reversed if we so desire. The world system relates perfection to doing rather than simply being. We have been told since we were kids that in order to be this we must do that. Therefore our mind has been infected with this erroneous concept and many of us have believed it to be true. As a result we have been striving for many years to reach perfection. Trying entails failing. The harder we try the further we are from realizing our perfect nature.

The preconceived idea that we must aim at something, subtly suggests to the subconscious mind that we don’t believe that we already possess it It also implies that we have not identified ourselves with it. The subconscious mind, which is the heart, will release into the universe those vibrations of ‘imperfection’, which will in turn attract circumstances or events of the same vibrational energy into our experiences. Energy attracts energy of the same vibration. If we are releasing thoughts and feelings of 'imperfection' we are attracting more 'imperfection' into our lives.

The idea of perfection has been misconceived. It is not achieved by doing, but rather by being. Be ye perfect as your father in heaven is perfect, Jesus said. In Spirit and in Truth we are already perfect. The ignorance of our true nature is our biggest hindrance to recognizing and accepting our divinity. This unawareness is like a thick cloud that hides a bright sunny and clear sky. Superficially it looks like a gloomy day, but in truth it only appears to be so since the cloud merely hides the sunbeam. In the same way the wrong conception of who or what we has darkened our understanding. This darkness causes us to ignore our divine nature, and consequently we end up clothing ourselves with a false nature. This is the false ego personality.

This false personality has been destroyed through the redemptive work of Christ Jesus. When we truly partake in the atonement we really believed that the false self has been crucified, our mind has been renewed and our soul redeemed or saved. Our perfection is then revealed. Therefore perfection is salvation.

Therefore seek to know who you really are within and not without. Erase from your consciousness any beliefs that suggest that your essence is in some way related to your accomplishments or attainments. Salvation is not done by works. Naturally accept and embrace your True Self, which is your Christ-Self.

Today get into the ‘spirit of things’, and arise your consciousness from being just a body and look beyond it so that you may discover your divine nature.

Today practice perfection. You may say: I am perfect as my Father in heaven is perfect. I am not what the world says I am. I am not what I think I am; I am that I am. I erase from my consciousness the belief in the false ego self.

You are Perfect! Accept it! Embrace it! Be it!

Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired?

Have you had enough of the mundane? Are you getting tired of your daily routines? Is your soul yearning for something more out of life?

The human’s soul will incessantly demands more, for it will not settle for less. Your soul was designed to experience peace and joy. It is for this reason you came forth. However, one can truly be peaceful and joyful only when he is using his gifts and talents for the fulfillment of his life purpose; which is his ultimate calling.
Yes you did not just show up here, you were called and are destined to live happily ever after; yes just like in those fairy tales! Many people are living in such state because they are living on purpose. They are consciously creating the life they deserve. Many of us are unhappy because we have settled for a life of limitations and mediocrity. Some of us are merely content with the idea of making money. Yes money can buy a lot of things but it can never buy happiness. Some people are just going along with the flow so to speak. They are simply doing what everyone else does with the assumption that if it works for others, then it must also work for them. They become imitators and not creators.

The truth is as a spirit being you were born to create and not to imitate. Spirit is Mind, consequently you must become mindful. Spirit is creative, innovative and original. Spirit is also complete, therefore it does not need anything. This means you shall not be in want, for all that you will ever need in order to produce the exciting life you deserve has already been provided.

Have you ever seen a user’s manual outside of the box? The manufacturer will always put it inside. Likewise God, our Maker, has put within each one of us an user's manual. It is our unerring guide to the secrets to divine manifestations which leads to the fulfillment of our life purpose. The answers to life many confusions and problems are closer to you than your own breath. Look within and become inward-focus. Your invisible you –your mind- shapes your life. As a result you must discover the working powers of your own mind in order to create appropriately.

According to modern psychology the average person uses no more than 6% of his mind power. That means there is 94% of untapped potentials and endless possibilities awaiting your awareness. You can be all that you want to be. If you can conceive it you can achieve it. But have you limited yourself? Have you ignored your inherent abilities to produce and create the circumstances that you wish to attract into your existence? You have the ability to imagine the life that you want. And there is no better time to do this than NOW!

You are here in order to produce the kind of life you were destined to live. You will feel unproductive until you begin to walk in your individual pattern. All that you need in order to fulfill your destiny is in you. You have all power to attract the right people and the right events.

You were called to freely create. Set no more boundaries. Explore all possibilities! You are destined to be happy and to experience everlasting joy. Don’t settle for anything less! Picture the life that you want! Imagine having all that you need in order to fulfill your life purpose. Feel the joy of being complete and not lacking any good things. Claim contentment! Walk on your divine pattern! Anticipate every day as being the best day of your life!

Appreciating the People in our Lives

To appreciate someone is to highly esteem him by exercising keen insight in realizing his worth. This means we must make every effort to connect to people's fundamental nature and not the superficial one. In Reality everyone is Good, for God is the good omnipresent life Principle that vitalizes every soul.

Reality is what IS. Just as nature, it may be unrecognized but it is unchangeable. However, when a soul is not yet awakened to its divine nature it believes it is separated from its source. And this erroneous mindset darkens its understanding, and causes it to act in a way that is contrary to its true Self. This liberating insight will make you free from judging others, and will enable you to go beyond their appearance and connect to their essence.

When we appreciate someone, we show him consideration and love; we value his opinion, we respect his point of views and his choices. When we don’t give value to something we don’t acknowledge it. Consequently it depreciates and sooner or later it will stop existing. When we appreciate what we have and are thankful for it, we become conscious of its worth and it increases in value. On the other hand when we fail to see its importance, it will decrease in value.

When you are grateful for what you have, you are in a state of contentment and more will be added unto you, but when you are ungrateful even the ‘little’ you think you have will be taken from you.

You will notice that people will tend to be around the people who show them appreciation, love and consideration. When someone feels a negative vibe around a particular person or environment, he usually avoids being there. This is why it is important to appreciate and encourage our loved ones, especially our kids. We must show them how much we care, and continually send positive thoughts (vibes) towards them.

What often causes us to have a change of heart towards other people is the belief that they have hurt us or let us down in the past. The reason for that is because we have had some expectations, and when those were not met we felt unappreciated and unloved. As a result we decided to withdraw our love and appreciation from them.

In order to avoid this ordeal it is better not to set any expectations and to simply go with the flow. Allow the relationship to unfold and learn from each other. In addition let every experience become an opportunity for spiritual growth and Self-development. Do not rely on anyone or anything outside of you to supply that which can only be found within you. Appreciate yourself, and give yourself value. You will see the importance of the people in your lives in accordance to how much you value and appreciate yourself.

Seeking to Understand our nature, identity and origin

The misconception of who God is and the wrong interpretation of his attributes is the darkness that has veiled our divine identity, and nature. When we fail to understand the God-nature we will undoubtedly misunderstand our own nature. And This ignorance is a major hindrance to our spiritual development.

Nature speaks of one's origin. Religion has taught us for years that we are of God and were in his image and likeness. Well one may wonder; what does this really mean? We have a physical body and we live in a circumscribed area. Where does God fit in all of this? We are told that God is All-powerful, all knowledge and everywhere present. Further more we are told that God is infinite wisdom, everlasting love, and He is good. Well one may wonder how can anyone measure up to God? How can one relate to such Perfection?

Some may ask: If He exists, and is everywhere, then where is He? If he is so good, so powerful, then why isn’t he doing something about all the pain and sufferings and famine in the world? We often hear people wondering about God’s existence, goodness and love. Because of Lack of accurate knowledge many have denied God, and consequently have denied their true origin and nature. Nature is what IS, though it may be unrecognized, it is unchangeable.

God is God, He is eternally Truth and forever Good. One may not acknowledge Him as such, but that does not change who God is. There is only one way to find out who is God, it is by knowing Him personally. And only in this perfect knowledge will your true nature be revealed to you.

However you will only know God if you truly desire to know and seek him with all your might. Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. One must also be determined to Know Him above everything else.

This strong desire will become a powerful magnetic force that will attract to one’s experience all that He needs to learn in order to acquire Perfect knowledge of God (Truth). This also suggests that He is willing to put aside any former beliefs that may have hindered him and slowed down his spiritual growth. And that he is open to hear from God directly in his spirit.

Peace Unshakable!

Do you feel disturbed when certain thoughts or images come to your mind? Do you allow people’s attitude or personalities -even your own- bring out ‘the worst’ in you? Are you moved by the realities of this realm? Do you let the world negative consciousness, which is the race belief in lack, poverty, sin and sickness – pollute your mindset and affect your personal belief system?

If your answer is “yes”to any of the preceding questions, you have been longing for Divine Peace whether you are conscious of this or not. The human soul is purposely programmed to have such desire. This longing is the life of God in you that is seeking perfect expression through you. It is the Spirit of God that gives Life. The life that you are now living has its source in God, for God is the Creative Life principle of all that exists. Therefore since Life originates in God, the perfect expression of Life must also be found in HIm.

The divine life in you is essentially perfect. However the God-life in you needs the divine guidance of God-wisdom for perfect expression. The lack of godly wisdom is the root of many inharmonies Man experiences in his life. To change the course of his life he must seek spiritual understanding through communion with God. He must unite hiss soul with God-Mind, and it is only in this perfect oneness that he experiences perfect peace.

How do you go about aligning your soul with the God-Mind? First it requires your willingness, which depends on your determination to be free from the world collective and negative consciousness, and then you must deny the illusive peace it offers. For this world is incapable of giving any lasting peace. The world does offer temporary pleasures. But they fade away as quickly as they come; for they are illusions.

Thirdly feel free to ask. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally. Asking suggests that you are willing to let go of the erroneous perception that had once kept you in darkness. By asking God you are opening your soul to receiving godly wisdom. This wisdom enlightens your mind and leads you to experiencing peace unshakable.

Today seek peace where it can only be found, or what you will find is inharmony. The answer to any lack of peace you may be experiencing right now lies within you. Look no where else!

Your Divine Pattern

There is something you came to give that no one else can, there is something you came to do that only you can. What is written in the book of life concerning you is unique. No two individuals have the same exact pattern. Though our destiny is the same, the pattern is different.

You were specifically designed and equipped to walk in your individual pattern. This divine pattern is written in your heart. This specific thing you came to do is inside of you; awaiting your acknowledgement to manifest.

You did not show up here by accident, you were predestined, called and set apart for a specific purpose. In the Divine Mind there are no accidents. God intentionally created everything in the entire universe for a specific purpose. The birds, the moon, the sun, the trees are all functioning according to the purpose for which they were created. This is why there is such peace when we are out in nature. Yes,You will notice an immediate connection with God as soon as you step out in nature. This is so because everything in nature is functioning in perfect harmony.

We will experience perfect peace only when we discover our specific pattern. The inharmonies that are brought about in our lives are the effects of our own ignorance. The minute we make the decision to know our individual calling everything in the whole universe will begin to work synchonistically in order to reveal our pattern to us. For the whole creation eagerly awaits the manifestation of the Sons of God; and this is who we are.

Find out the purpose for which you were called. Open your heart and allow this pattern to be revealed to you. Turn your focus inward. You must escape the reality of this world every so often and commune with the Spirit of God within so that His divine ideas concerning your destiny may be unfold to you. As you are doing this inward journey, trust the Spirit of God within you to show you and direct your every step to your perfect pattern.

Aligning your thoughts with your feelings

When we think of a thought, this thought goes into our innermost parts, which is our subconscious. As soon as we become conscious of a particular thought we begin the creative process. The more we ponder on that thought the more it is being embedded in our subconscious, and sooner or later our consciousness will carry out that thought into our experience.

There is a male and a female principle within each one of us. Our male and female principles are designed to function in perfect harmony. They constitute our thoughts and feelings. This comprises our overall beingness, which is our individual consciousness.

We are what we think and what we feel. What we are in the inside is projected in the outside. The more established we are within, the more harmony we will experience without; that is in our body and affairs. Our experiences, conditions, situations are the reflection of our thoughts and feelings. The disharmony that we experience in our body and affairs has its roots in the disharmony between our male and female principles. This is the meaning of A house divided against itself cannot stand.

This is why what you think must be in the same alignment with what you feel in other to experience harmony, peace and joy. Some people may say "I would love to experience unconditional love", but deep down inside they don’t believe it is attainable. Some say "I deserve to be happy", and the next minute they say: "but true happiness does not really exist". You will hear people say: "I believe my partner can change", but moment later they began to criticize everything that he/she does.

We may have a lot of good intentions and goals and desires but unless we believe they are attainable and feasible we are not really creating the life that we deserve. It is in the heart (our subconscious) that we believe. The heart is a faithful servant and will always carry out what is there.

You may even say: "I believe in prosperity", but if in the heart you don’t really believe that prosperity is your divine right, you will not experience abundance in your life. The heart will always carry out what it sees there.

This is why you must define what you want. The more understanding you have about what you want, the more confident you will become. You will also become empowered by only attracting only that which you want.

What do you want? Define it and seal it with your intention. There is an underlying principle about everything you desire. Seek understanding! In doing so you will experience joy inexpressible and peace unshakable.

"Defining What You Want"

It is not enough to know what we want or desire, it is imperative that we also find meaning for every single thing that we wish to experience during our earthly journey. When we find the true definition to what we want, what we don't want will not show up in our experiences. The more we define what we want, the more we give it substance to materialize in the physical realm. There is no creation without substance. Definition gives understanding, and understanding gives us substance.

What is it that you want? We all want to be happy and we all want to feel good. We want to experience peace and joy, prosperity, health and wealth and much more. Our human spirit was purposely designed to desire the ideal. That is why our soul continuously longs for perfect peace and joy, unending and complete happiness, unconditional love and so forth.

Spirit can only create after its own kind. Perfection begets perfection. The Human spirit was created in the likeness of its Creator and for the sole purpose to create like its source. If we are to experience the ideal we must connect our mind to the creative source of absolute perfection,which is the God-Mind. The divine mind is the realm of divine ideas and perfect expression. Everything that we want to experience have their origin in God. We must therefore seek to understand the God-Mind; the infinite consciousness from which all things emanate.

The God-Mind is Man's 'Super consciousness' and it is inherent in our divine nature. We all have access to this realm of divine ideas. God,who is infinite intelligence, has carefully placed within each one of us the key to our perfect pattern. This is the true path to God realization and the divine manifestations of everything our heart desires. The God-Mind is Man's unerring guide, and his connection to godly wisdom.

The outward expressions and manifestations that we want to realize in our lives have their true definition in God. However, there is a key to happiness, another key to success, yet another key to prosperity, still another key to peace, life, intelligence, substance, faith and every other divine idea that exists. But there is One master key that opens the treasure box which contains these hidden treasures of the soul.

Every manifestation is God realization. The key to manifesting your desires is to have a perfect knowledge of your Source, your Father, who is your creator and your First Cause. Seek to have an understanding of His attributes and his mindset. The more you understand the God-Mind, the more substance you have to create like him; in Spirit and in Truth. The more you understand the God-Mind, the more you are able to relate to Him. Seek to understand your origin, your purpose,your true identity, which are found only in God. Turn your focus inward and seek first the perfect kingdom of the Mind that is in you.

"Your wish Is my command"

If you had a genie that could give you your heart utmost’s desire, what would you wish for? In a recent poll, most people’s desire was to know their life purpose.

Having our heart desires fulfilled lead us to living a purposeful life. When we know what we want, we avoid doing what we don’t want. What is it that you really, really, really want?

This may sound like a silly question, as if the answer should be obvious. But unless we are certain about what we desire in life, and unless we seal our desires through intention, we will leave this earth and not carry out the very mission we were sent for.

Many people have missed their calling and have ended up doing something that has nothing to do with their particular assignment. They have missed the mark because they never sought after their individual pattern.

Our divine pattern is engraved in our heart. Sometimes it will come to us as in a flash. Other times we will imagine ourselves doing something that our conscious mind would reason unfeasible. Some people, especially our relatives and close friends, will notice some of our talents or giftedness even at an early age. Those natural abilities are pattern indicators. They help lead the way to our ultimate calling.

Your Maker has designed and handcrafted you to function in a specific manner. Just like a manufacturer would carefully make a product with the intention to function in a particular way and for a specific use. In like manner God has fashioned you to operate and function in your specific calling.

You would not warm up your food in the refrigerator because refrigerators are not designed for that purpose. When you misuse something you end up abusing it. There is a specific pattern for your life, and if you ignore that pattern you will end up abusing your life, which will result to living a life of misery and unhappiness.

And in the same way the same manufacturer would include a user’s manual inside his product. God has placed within you, his masterpiece, a user’s manual; “How to live the purposeful life”. This unerring guide is His Spirit within you. He is in your heart. Speak to him today, all you need to do is open your heart and you will surely find him and hear from Him.

"Being one with the wholeness of Spirit"

This mental attitude may be foreign to many of us. Our mind is accustomed to viewing itself as separated from its Source, which is the God-Mind, the all-originating Spirit from which all things emanate. In truth, there is but one Mind expressed in various ways through different individuals. We are individualized aspects of the one Mind, the Mind of God.

In reality there are no separate minds. The Wrong conception of 'who we are' and ‘what God is' is the cause for the separation and division that Man experiences. This is what gave birth to the false ego identity. What we call ego is in fact 'self-hood'. It is the characteristic of one’s personality or individuality. Ego expresses itself in individual consciousness through desires. Our consciousness is made of our thoughts and our desires. And Man’s utmost desire is to find happiness. That strong desire is of the Spirit. It is The Spirit of God seeking perfect expression through us, which is our ultimate calling. In essence it is Love seeking recognition, and expression through us. The Spirit is of God and God is Love and we are also of God.

Love in is essential nature is pure. It is man’s divine nature. However without the wisdom and guidance of The Spirit that nature will eventually get corrupted. If love is not properly guided by The Spirit of God, it will seek guidance from Man’s corrupted intelligence or inner sight. We are of The Spirit of God; we are of God and must therefore operate in Him; that is according to his principles and mindset. This is in fact the process of spiritualization. This process, in fact, is Man’s individual journey back to the place of his origin in God.

The first step in this process requires that one recognizes God as his only Source and the creative life principle or life generator of all Good. Secondly one must acknowledge that this Source has already made a provision for Man's every need throughout his physical experience on earth. Thirdly God is seeking perfect expression through Man and only needs his cooperation. That is to have the willingness to know the Truth and nothing but the Truth.

Also in acquiring spiritual knowledge one must remain teachable and humble. Most importantly he must enjoy the journey. This process of spiritualization is for our own enjoyment. The Spirit of God loves a ‘happy learner’. Your cooperation also requires that you become one with the wholeness of Spirit (the divine Spirit), which is your divine and true nature.

Today give yourself over wholeheartedly to the the Spirit of God and trust Him to lead you step by step to this spiritual journey; which is in Truth, The Spirit Journeying through you.

Nothing outside of you can disturb you

We allow things outside of us to disturb us because we believe that they have the ability to do so. As long as we hold on to that belief we are allowing the world ‘without’ to interfere with the world ‘within’.

Moreover, we believe that our lack of peace has its origin in things outside of us. Nothing could be further from the truth. We often hear people say ‘you make me so unhappy, my children get on my last nerves, or you make me so angry’. In truth, no one can create in our reality unless we allow it. The sad thing is as long as we continue to believe that the source of our peace, joy or contentment is outside of us we will never find it.

If you truly desire to cultivate inner peace, you must be willing to accept the fact that True Peace can only be found within and that nothing outside of you is able to rob you of your Peace. What is yours is yours. No one and no-thing can take that which truly belongs to you. What truly belongs to you becomes a part of you; it becomes your authentic inclination.

If it is possible for someone or something to steal your peace, it means that you never had it in the first place. You must make a firm decision to seek Peace in you (not outside you). This will require that you pay close attention to your thoughts, feelings and emotions. It is true that things outside of us will cause us to act or react a certain way.

However every action or reaction has its corresponding thought-pattern within. The law of correspondence says: “as within, so without”. Many times instead of going to the cause of the matter we focus on the effects. And we deal with it superficially. On the outside it may appear that we are resolved but deep within we are not.

Today make every effort not to rely on anything or anyone outside of you to bring you to a state of peace. Also don’t blame things or people for the lack of peace you may be experiencing.

If you become disturbed about a particular situation you may say: "I desire to find peace in this situation (name situation)". If you become disturbed about a certain individual you may say after you bring his/her image to your mind and state his or her name: Peace be with you. The peace that you give is the peace that you keep. To create a continual state of peace, you may unceasingly affirm: I am only open to the influx of Divine Peace in my heart.

THE POWER OF CHOICE

Often times we are afraid to choose. We would rather let someone else choose for us or tell us what to do. We attribute choosing to failure. We don't think we are good enough to choose for ourselves, we don't trust ourselves enough to make good choices. We don't depend on ourselves because we don't know ourselves well enough and we don't really love ourselves. And quite frankly we haven't thought about ourselves long enough to find out who we truly are in the inside.

If we form the habit of going along with whatever others think is best for us, or whatever people tell us to do, we will never know who we truly are. We will end up living to please others and living up to their expectations and according to their belief system. This behavior is one of the main causes of unhappiness. Many people feel unfulfilled because they are living for someone else and not for themselves.

It is a real blessing to have friends, family members, mentors and other people in our lives who love us, advise us and care about our well-being. But when we depend solely on their understanding in order to make up our mind, we cripple our own understanding and we negate our innate ability to be creative, original and productive.

Today ask yourself, who am I? what gives me a sense of joy? what do I like to do? Consider writing down your personal thoughts in a journal. Make it a habit to write down the things that you are interested in, the places you would like to go, some of the things you would love to do. Don't worry about the means, but dream and dream big.

This is a good practice in finding out your true identity and your life purpose. Most importantly you will discover what you enjoy to do so that you can do it! Only then will you gain the confidence that you need in making your own choices.

Living in the "Now"

EMBRACING THE PRESENT MOMENT

The past is long gone. Even the past few seconds are no longer here. Seeing in the past is not seeing at all. Living in the past is not living at all. The only true time there is is the present moment. Embrace the present moment. Be mindful of the now.

Bless the past and watch it go, then focus on the now. Contemplate the future and see endless possibilities, then focus back on the now. Now is all that matters. Now is all that you really have. Now is your ‘present’; it is a gift, therefore cherish it. Now is "TIME" fulfilled!

When you bring your conscious awareness to the present moment, which is the only reality there is, you are taking charge of your reality and you are creating the experiences that you deserve now and not some time later. The consciousness of the present moment enables you to connect to your innermost being, the creative part of your soul, where you may commune with God and co-create with Him the life that you deserve. And you can only do this in the "now".

Eternity is in the heart of Man and eternity is the unfoldment of the present moment. Eternity is the realm of endless possibilities; it is God Domain and Man’s inexhaustible Supply. Ask and you shall receive. There is a supply for every need.

Your ‘now’ determines your ‘later’. What you create in the now will determine what you will experience later. Let your "now" be productive. Seeing in the past and being anxious about the future rob you of experiencing the Joy of the present moment.

In the present moment, practice divine communion. Receive divine guidance. Connect with your Source. Receive all your supplies. See all your needs met. Though they may not be visible as of yet, but see your desires fulfilled, see your wishes come true. The present moment quickens the eye of your faith where you are able to see your good prior to its TANGIBLE manifestation.

“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them”.
In the "now" we enter the closet prayer within, which is the secret place of the Most High. In that moment THERE IS NO NEED TO SUPPLICATE OR BEG, SIMPLY OPEN YOUR HEART AND RECEIVE YOUR GOOD.

Practice saying to yourself, now is the time fulfilled, I bless the past and I let it go. My future is bright and I am on my way to it. I am here, speak Lord thy servant heareth. Practice makes perfect. As you continue these meditative affirmations you will begin to experience a surge of emotions that arises in your heart; it is joy inexpressible. It is something that results as Man’s soul communes with God.

Let today's practice become part of your daily thoughts and meditation. Whenever possible escape your daily routine even for a few seconds or minutes and practice being in the "now', which is being in God’s presence; Love's Presence. In His presence there is indeed everlasting Joy!

Are you living or do you exist?

Plants exist. Animals do too. How about you? What is it going to be for you? The choice is always yours. Living unconsciously is merely existing; it is living by default. When you are not mind ful of the thoughts you entertain in your mind you are living unconsciously and become vulnerable, powerless and subject to the world negative collective thought-system and mindset. Throughout the whole creation only Man has the ability to think, to choose and to believe. Those centers of powers in the human organism constitute our God-given ability to create.

We are creators of our own reality whether we are conscious of this or not. To assume that someone else can create in our own reality is to give up our own power to choose and create the life we truly deserve. Our thoughts are constantly shaping our lives and no one else can think for us. We choose our thoughts. They don't choose us. This is the power of the will. This is why if our current thought patterns are not creating good experiences for us we have the ability to choose to think differently. We do so by retraining the mind to think only positive, happy thoughts.

If we allow someone else to choose for us we are giving up our will power and we will merely exist and be reduced to the animal kingdom or the plant kingdom. We must know ourselves and trust ourselves enough to make our own decisions. We must seek to find out what makes us thrive, what gives us a sense of purpose. We must seek for ourselves the answers that will lead us to true happiness and perfect peace. No one else can do this in our place.

Today take a moment to stop and find out whether or not you are consciously living or merely existing. Ponder on this for a while. The highest level of honesty is one toward self. Ask yourself: "What do I really want? Am I contemplating the circumstances that will allow my desires to manifest? Am I enjoying the process?”. These questions will allow you to make a conscious contact within.

Today escape this busy world even for an instant and reconnect to your Source; God within. If you are not sure what the answers are to the preceding questions ask Him. You came forth from Him, and you are on your way back to Him. This is inevitable. In the meanwhile you are here for a specific purpose, something that you are to do that no one else can. There is something you came to give birth to. It is something that you personally need to co-create with God for the well-being of others. Once you find out what that thing is you will also find true happiness, only then will you feel completely alive. Ask and it shall be given to you.

"How to Change Your Life" - Part 2

Now that you have a better understanding of the subconscious mind and its relation to the conscious mind, you may begin the reprogramming process that will bring about perfect healing. But this will be effective and effectual only if you truly desire to change. If that is the case you need to continually affirm: “Above all else, I am determined and I am willing to change". This affirmation must come from the core of your being and you must speak it forth with absolute conviction and power.

Some people don't experience change because they have simply given up their will to change. In some cases their will is crippled because of the lack of
spiritual knowledge that will make them free. Consequently many people remain in bondage due to their closed-mindedness and ignorance. The truth is the soul will remain in the dark until light comes.

To start we must first remember that everything begins as an idea in the mind. As the idea unfolds it turns into thought-forms that later shape our beliefs system. Our beliefs create our mindset. A mindset is a fixed mental attitude or disposition that predetermines a person's pattern of responses. Mindsets create personalities. You can predetermine the course of actions someone will take in a certain situation if you know that person's mindset or his/her personality. To sum it up, we are the sum total of our beliefs system.

Once you learn to think differently, you will have a different set of beliefs. If you can learn to think, positively, constructively, affirmatively, lovingly, you will establish a corresponding belief.

Clearly your mind controls your life, but you are in control of your mind. This is why you can easily make the decision to think differently and to choose to live the life that you truly desire. In doing so you are taking full control of your current life circumstances instead of allowing them to dominate you. This is why allowing others to choose for you will only make you powerless, vulnerable and double-minded. Blaming others and making up excuses for the adverse circumstances you may be experiencing will hinder your healing process as well.

Living in the past is another enemy of progress. It causes one to feel regretful or remorseful which leads to bitterness, jealousy and envy. We often hear people say I wish I had married someone else, I wish my children behaved better or were obedient, I wish I looked the way I did when I was in my twenties, or thirties. I wish I had stayed single, I wish I never accepted this job; I wish I never relocated in this city. I wish my husband or my wife were more romantic. I wish we were making more money.

You must be the change that you wish to see and once you change the way you look at things, the things you look at will also change. Wishful thinking only sends out negative vibrations and that which we give away we keep. Energy attracts energy that is of the same rate of vibration. Our thoughts are like boomerangs. What we think and feel about the most we give energy to take form. The more we complain about what we don’t want, the more we attract what we don’t want.

If you want your life to change, imagine the life you truly desire and hold on to that perfect image. If you want your spouse or a loved one to change bless him or her by sending only good vibrations towards him/her. If your spouse or a loved one is sick, has a bad addiction, or in need of some other types of healing,you may say the God of Love is now making you whole, the perfect power within you is now giving you a good growth and causing you to flourish and you may also add after you state the person's name: I bless you and I love you. If some event from the past is haunting you in the present, you may recall the situation and bless everyone involved including yourself using the love treatment afore mentioned.

If you believe someone has hurt you really bad, forgive that person. Understand that no one in his or her right mind would intentionally hurt anyone. So somewhere down the line this person's mind got distorted, and your mind will become infected as well unless you release that person and yourself. Ponder on this: Essentially we are all good, for we all come from the source of all-Good, namely God. Therefore treat that person in love using the same format, bring that person's image in your mind and as you hold on to that image, send forth good thoughts, thoughts of healing and peace in his or her mind. Then state his or her name and add: I now forgive you, for in releasing you, I release myself. In forgiving you I now forgive myself. And I go free.

Do this as many times as necessary until you experience perfect peace. Do it throughout the day, and as soon as any adverse thought arises to your conscious mind. Memorize the love treatment statement and let it become your prayer and pray without ceasing.

How to Change your Life by Reprogramming the Subconscious mind (the Heart) - Part one

The Greek adage says: “know thyself”. We must begin there if we are to experience the radical changes that will transform the whole Man: spirit,mind and body. These changes that first occur in the spiritual plane will eventually materialize in the physical. To transform means to go beyond the form. It originates from the Greek word “metamorfo”, which means, “to changeinto another form, to transfigure”.

When we look beyond the physical appearances of things with a genuine thirst to acquire spiritual understanding, our mind is renewed and we are transformed. During the renewal process we will have but a vague idea of the 'former Man' and our friends will hardly recognize us. Better yet we will hardly recognize ourselves.

There are, as we know, 3 aspects of the mind, the conscious, the subconscious and the superconscious. The superconscious is the realm of God ideas. It is what the bible refers to as “Spirit in Man”, or “Christ in Man”, it is also called “the Kingdom of God in Man”. Some refers to it as “Christ Consciousness”. It is the realm of the ideal, the realm of absolute perfection..

The conscious and the subconscious constitute the soul of man. To better understand how they function we may consider the relationship between a male and a female. The conscious mind, which is the intellect, the will and the reasoning aspect of the mind, works objectively. The subconscious, which is the seat of emotions, memory, and creativity works subjectively. The conscious mind gives the order and the subconscious mind follows.

Male and female, created He (God) them. There is a male and female principles in each one of us, which constitute the Soul of Man. The conscious mind is the male and the subconscious is the female. When they work harmoniously Man experiences peace of mind. And when they fail to, he experiences pain and sufferings. There is a divine order of things, when that other is broken the consequences are inevitable.

The subconscious or the female principle relies solely on the conscious or the male principle for its needs. The conscious mind or the male principle must rely on Spirit and be fed on things above. This divine substance is obtained through the correct appropriation of spiritual knowledge through the learning process of spiritual truths. These substances supply the Subconscious with vitality of life, strength, love and other spiritual ideas found in the law of God or God Mind. When those needs are not met Man begins to look for things outside of him to satisfy those demands. That is how a lot of people turn to worldly passions or desires in other to satisfy their own emotional needs.

The subconscious in Man is the place of conception and birth. This is why women give birth and not the men. It is also a place of emotional pains; just like women experience labor pains. Nevertheless it is with the heart (subconscious) that we believe. Every suggestion, idea or concept the conscious mind accepts as truth, the heart believes it as such and sooner or later those beliefs begin to manifest in Man's body and affairs. As within, so without..

The Heart, who can understand it? The better we understand the subconscious mind the easier it will be to reprogram it.

Today be diligent. Pay attention to the ideas or suggestions that will submerge from the subconscious.
Keep an open mind and be willing to view them in a different light.
If any issues or conflicts arise, cease the opportunity to heal the heart by casting them upon your superconscious, which is the Father (Spirit) or the Christ within.
He is your unerring Guide and May He lead you to the way everlasting.

"Our enemies are right in our own household"

And I don’t mean the people with whom we live. Although some of us would love for this to be true. We tend to have attack thoughts, or conflicts towards the people who are closest to us or the people in our own household. Our real ‘enem ies’ are the adverse thoughts or feelings that arise from the heart.

From the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks. The mouth represents our conscious or reasoning mind. The words that come out of our mouth express our feelings, and our thoughts express our unspoken words. Some of the thoughts that occupy our mind are sometimes due to some childhood memories or events of the past. Often times an image will come to our conscious mind that reminds us of something we have gone through or experienced during our upbringing. Other times someone might say some things to us that later trigger a certain feeling or a sudden surge of emotions, which in turn creates a pattern of behavior. This is in fact how character or personality is built in man’s consciousness.

The real matter is the matter of the heart. It has very little to do with the people we live with or the conditions we find ourselves in. These conditions are the effects of a cause. Just as the wages of sin, as we know, is death. Sin is the cause and death is the effect. The issues that we face on a daily basis have their origin in the mind; more precisely the subconscious mind, which is the heart. “… for out of it are the issues of life”. Our enemies are the adverse thoughts or feelings that arise from the heart due to some resistance we may have built in our consciousness. And in other cases it is due to the suppression of the same feelings. These are feelings that we have failed to properly deal with or have chosen to ignore. But the heart is very faithful and will from time to time bring to light (our conscious mind) those hidden or dark spots of the heart, so that they may be dealt with.

Our tendency is to blame someone else or something else for the disharmonies we experience in our own world. This is the characteristic of the false ego. His goal is to keep us in the dark by deceiving us and making us believe that the answer to our problems lies outside of us, rather than inside. The ego is a blind guide and we must not rely in its suggestions.

The ego is the false personality or the personality of sin that is born in Man’s consciousness due to his belief in Separation, first from God than from everyone else. It is born out of a mind that views itself as being disconnected from its source.

The heart is the place where we commune with God. Today pay attention to what God is saying to you. Therefore listen to your heart, for God talks to us through our feelings. The psalmist says: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. We are broken when we bravely embrace our feelings and trace their pattern to their origin; the heart. We are broken when we confidently open our heart to God and rely on his divine truth to shine abroad our understanding and erase the pattern our erroneous thinking has traced in our heart.

Today, see every thought or feeling as God speaking to you. Your immediate answer should be “Speak Lord, thy servant heareth”. Open your heart and fear not knowing that God’s will for your life is that you experience unending and complete happiness.

Today pray for your ‘enemies’. When those negative thoughts arise from the subconscious mind turn them into prayers. For example let’s suppose there is a particular person in your life that you simply seem to have a hard time getting along with, or maybe each time the image of that person comes to your mind, negative emotions immediately submerge from the heart. Perhaps you believe that this person has hurt you. This may have been going on in your heart for a long time. Today cease the opportunity and put an end to this vicious cycle.

The way to stop this from reoccurring is to pray and bless that person. In fact praying and blessing others is praying and blessing ourselves for giving is receiving. Today “settle matters quickly with your adversary…”

Part 2- The Heart - Who can understand it?

The greatest need of the human race is salvation from the sin of unbelief. You may wonder how anyone can believe in “Good” when we are surrounded with so much “evil”. Or you may ask how can we expect anyone to believe in the idea of “perfection” when there is so much emphasis on our ‘imperfection’? What about the concept of Love, how can anyone still believe that True Love exists, except maybe in Shakespeare or fairy tales? But yet the world is desperately in need of unconditional love.

The truth is ... our heart is more inclined to believe what most people believe and are experiencing. Everyone is talking about the economy, the high cost of gas or mortgage, and the high cost of college tuition. We often hear people talk about the divorce rate or some other disharmonies people experience in homes and in schools. Moreover the media constantly bombards us with disastrous reports such as, hurricanes, wars, tsunamis, and earthquakes. Let‘s not forget about the third world countries, we hear news of political violence, civil war, famine, malnutrition and deadly diseases. As a result our mind becomes hypnotized by all this information which affects the World Collective Consciousness.

In order to be saved from these negative forces we must raise our consciousness above that of the world. How is this done? This must be done through the renewing of our own mind. The soul, which is the subconscious mind, must be saved from the pattern of wrong thinking, which leads to erroneous mindsets and beliefs that are based on a false ‘light’ (the wisdom of this world).

All the disharmonies that Man experiences may be undone when he aligns his conscious mind to the Divine Mind. God Mind is the realm of perfection and the creative source of all-Good. “Apart from Me you can do nothing”. Anything we believe we may have done apart from Divine Mind will go back to their native nothingness, because once we no longer invest our faith in something, it will stop to exist in our reality and disappears. Only that which is Truth according to God Mind has true substance of existence. “Have Faith in God”.

We are to “Abide in Him”, that is to acknowledge the Truth of God’s omnipresence, omniscience and omnipotence. And to believe that indeed He is everywhere present, which means he is all, he fills all and is above all. We must also recognize that He is Good, and only Good and in Him there is no evil. He is the true light that lighted every man who comes into this world.

Today, with this in mind, let us refuse to believe in the apparent realities the world offers. And instead let us strive to look beyond them and choose to see what God Mind reveals. No matter how difficult this may be at first we must persist until His kingdom (the realm of divine ideas) is established in us (our consciousness).

"The Heart - Who can Understand it?"

"The heart is hopelessly dark and deceitful, a puzzle that no one can figure out". I mean who can understand it? Well let's make an attempt.

First we must understand that all of our life experiences are registered in the heart. Everything that we have ever thought of, imagined or done is also impressed upon it. All of our life events, conditions, situations that have shaped our personalities are also recorded in the heart. Everything that we have ever felt, seen, touched, smelled and heard is also there. This is why we are admonished to keep our heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life.

The heart is like a willing servant; it registers every impression, or decision that comes from our conscious mind or the intellect. And it carries it out to its minutest detail. The heart is the subjective part of the mind, which means it does whatever it is told without questioning or reasoning. The heart, which is our subconscious, is where we express our emotions, it is in the heart that we believe. However it is not the thoughts that we are conscious of that create our reality, but the thoughts that we believe in. Whatever ideas or suggestions that we accept as truth, though they may not be true according to the Law of God, the heart believes it as our 'reality' and executes it.

If you believe life has ups and downs, you will experience ups and downs. If you believe in the reality of sickness, you will experience sickness in your body, if you believe in the reality of scarcity and lack you will attract poverty in your life and affairs; according to your faith be it done unto you.

Our heart is not only subjected to our own beliefs but it is also affected by the race belief in sin, sickness and death. This is why we must not conform ourselves to the pattern of this world, but instead we must set our hearts and minds on things above. And no this is not suggesting that we stare at the sky, but to rather seek to establish the kingdom of God within us.

The appropriation of divine truths and the incorporation of divine principles in our consciousness is the establishment of the Kingdom of God within Man. This takes place through the workings of our own mind through our inherent ability to choose, accept and believe In God, In Spirit, and In Things invisible. In doing so we acquire the spiritual knowledge that will heal the heart and set it free from the erroneous thought patterns that have kept it enslaved over the years. It is true that our mind controls our life, but we are in control of our mind.

Therefore,today let us guard our hearts with all diligence. Today let us choose the kind of thoughts we want to entertain in our hearts. If a certain thought or idea is negative or destructive let us immediately cast it out as one would a thief who had come to rob his house of its valued possessions. Today let us refuse to believe in the reality of sickness, lack or any other negative suggestions that may arise in our conscious mind. Rather let us affirm the Truth according to the Law of God.

Today affirm who you are according to God Mind and not according to your own mind or the world collective consciousness.

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things".

P.S. Anxiety, fear, depression, condemnation, guilt, confusion, unhappiness, disharmony and the like are the symptoms of a heart that is sick. The main sickness of the heart is due to the false belief in separation…(to be continued…stay tune for part 2 tomorrow)

"Understanding the Underlying Nature of Our Desires"

There is something within each one of us that is continuously seeking a higher self-expression. It is seeking and longing for complete freedom, perfect happiness and total bliss. We know this to be true because deep within us, in the core of our being, there is a constant yearning to find true and unending happiness. Like many people we often project to experience this outside of us. Many times we hope this will occur through the people in our lives or through our life choices. But sooner or later we will realize that the soul is still unfulfilled. It begins to demand more out of us.

Desire is this invisible energy within us ... that is constantly seeking more than it already has because it is unsatisfied with less. Desire is God seeking his perfect self-expression in us and through us. Unless we recognize desire as such we will seek, but in vain. It's only when we come to the understanding that this unseen energy is the 'God Life' in us that is seeking expression through us, do we begin the journey to true happiness.

Desires in their underlying nature are our integrity. There is nothing wrong with us desiring or wanting anything. It is our conscious mind that often judges our desires as being ‘good’ or ‘bad’. But with this new understanding we can from now train ourselves to embrace our longings, cravings, along with our wishes and needs as they submerge from the heart. The way to do this is by first acknowledging our desires so that they are not suppressed. Suppression in the long run may cause depression. Secondly we must seek divine understanding in order to avoid relying on our own wisdom and insights.

We seek God’s intervention in our lives and affairs when we open our heart to Him and trust him for guidance. We must also remember that God desires relationship. And the basis of any relationships is trust. When we trust God, God also trusts us and will reveal to us his divine pattern for our lives.

Perhaps you may have been longing and waiting for a certain need or desire to manifest in your life, now is the opportune time. Cease this moment and use it as an opportunity to grow in a deeper intimacy with God. Cast everything upon him for He cares for you. Be not afraid to ask God questions. The only way we get answers is by asking questions. Seek to understand the God life, which is the God nature in you. Seek to understand God Mind or His Wisdom. In doing so you are in fact seeking first His Kingdom and His righteousness and ‘all these things shall be added unto you’. This kingdom, the bible tells us, is to be found in Man. Everything that you need in order to see your desires fulfilled is also in you, look no where else or you will look in vain.

Just like you, I want to feel good. I mean who doesn't? This is one of the things that we all have in common. I desire to cultivate as much peace in my life as possible, and I hope you do too.
When we are at peace we are able to make peaceful decisions , which allow us to live the kind of life that we truly desire.

Peace is our divine inheritance, however, it is up to each individual to choose peace even when facing adverse thoughts or circumstances.

Often time it is necessary to make a conscious decision to escape this busy world, even for a few seconds, in order to seek a quiet refuge within.My hope is that you find the articles insightful and practical. I would love to hear from you.

Embracing Our Individuality

When we pause to reflect on how we feel, we are in fact embracing our individuality. We are taking the time to love and appreciate our ‘uniqueness’. This is what we are really saying: ‘self’ you matter to me, ‘self’ I care about how you are really doing today, ‘self’ I desire to know how you are really feeling right now. If we don’t make time for ourselves no one else will. We are in charge of ourselves, and no one else can love us more or care for us better than we can ourselves.

The question is how much do “You” matter to “You”? How much do “You” value “you”? Do you see your self-worth? Do you see a genius in you? Do you see what God sees? Do you need someone else to tell you how beautiful you are or how wonderful you are before you can believe this to be true of you? Do you need to see yourself through the eyes of someone else before you can see the valued possession that you are?

You must affirm continually who you are in the eyes of your Creator. You must incessantly borrow His eyes. You must not even rely on your own judgments if they are based of a false conception of your true nature. If they fail to recognize the image of God in you, you must disregard them, for they are from your own vain imagination. But instead seek to know what your creator says concerning his creation. For everything that He created He called it “good”. You are good, and the goodness of God’s presence abides in you always.

Today take a moment to embrace the unique individualized aspect of creation that you are. Remember that you are an effect of a cause. What I mean in saying this is you did not randomly happen to live on planet earth. You originated from a source that is infinite in power and wisdom. To embrace fully who you are is to reconnect to your Source. You were created and you are an individualized aspect of God.

As you embrace yourself today through pondering on your thoughts and feelings, also commune with God. Seek to understand the Divine Mind that brought you forth and I assure you that you will hear His voice today.

Treating the Heart

We are fully human when we allow ourselves to “feel”. I say this because at times we tend to suppress our feelings rather than acknowledging them and ‘dealing’ with them. To suppress is to conceal. The truth is sooner or later what is continuously being ‘pressed down’ from within will eventually spill without. And sometimes this occurs when we least expect it to.

From the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. This is a fact.

It is always better to acknowledge how we feel about a certain situation or individual. When we do so, we are in fact bringing the situation out in the open where some ‘light’ may shine upon it. When we deny how we feel, our feelings persist. Consequently we will remain in the darkness of ignorance because we fail to seek to understand the underlying cause of our feelings. Denying is the same as resisting. As you know what we resist persists.

The truth is we tend to be most vulnerable when we are going through some challenging times or when we are facing some major life crisis. Times of emotions are sensitive times. We must proceed with care. When experiencing moments like this fear, doubt, and anxiety will inevitably emerge from the heart. This is why it is better to embrace our feelings sooner than later. We must also allow ourselves to feel. In doing so we are taking control of the adverse circumstances rather than allowing the circumstances to control us.

Begin to pay attention to how you feel as certain thought-forms or patterns arise in your conscious mind. Whether they are new suggestions or existing ones be sure to treat them all the same. The best way in dealing with what submerges from your heart, which is also called the subconscious mind, is to refrain from judging your thoughts or feelings as being either ‘good’ or ‘bad’. At first it is best to see them as being ‘neutral’. When you are too emotionally involved in a particular situation you are not at a place to judge it righteously.

Everything that you need in order to understand 'how you feel and why you think the way you do' lies within you. This truth will set you free every time you are tempted to believe otherwise. You simply need to spend some time alone. Listen to yourself; for the answer that you need lies deep within the core of your being. As you remain in silence try to avoid all distractions, and keep on being still for as long as you possibly can. Allow some futile thoughts to arise first and watch them go. Commune with your Higher Self, who is God, and find Peace. To be at peace is to commune with God within.

You may say: "I am determined to find peace in this situation (name situation or you may say in the situation involving –name the person I desire to find peace)".
When you make this affirmation you are in fact inviting God’s Infinite Wisdom to shine light unto your own understanding. The key is to persist until you find peace within. You may use this affirmation as often as possible or every time an adverse thought or feeling is seeking expression through you. Let that feeling arise and allow the light of God to put it to flight.

Knowing Thyself is Loving Thyself

There is this story of a man who went to see a Guru. Gurus are spiritual masters or wise men. This man was just fed up with his life. So he asked the Guru why am I so unhappy? So the Guru asked him: who are you. So the man stated his name, his profession and his marital status, and so on. So the Guru told him, tell me about “you”. So the man went on to speak about his family and where they lived. After he had given all the details concerning his life, the Guru asked him so “who are you”.

At this point the man was a bit frustrated wondering what else could he possibly tell this guy. So the man told the guru well I have just told you everything about me and I don’t know what else I can add. The Guru told him, well my son you don’t know who you are and that is why you believe you are so unhappy.

Have you taken some time lately to reflect on you? Not the external you, but you inwardly. The body is the outward expression of the soul. We can also say our body is the physical manifestation of our spirit. The spirit is the inner man. Man is tripartite: mind, soul and body. The mind is also referred to as being the spirit. I posed this question because often time we tend to identify ourselves with what we do rather than with who we are. And we are so busy “doing” that we seldom take the time to simply be. And unfortunately this is the source of the many confusions and unhappiness that we experience in our lives.

It is very important that we take time to assess how we feel. Our feelings are our integrity. sometimes we may feel hesitant to do so because we are afraid of what we might discover concerning ourselves. Well it is because we tend to be very hard on ourselves and we often judge and condemn ourselves. Nevertheless we should not let that mindset stop us from making a conscious contact with our true ‘Self’.

To love yourself is practicing being still and knowing thyself. When you pose yourself some questions with a genuine thirst to know how you really feel, you will also discover who you truly are; for who you are, is eager to express itself through you.

Today make the decision to love yourself by Seeking to know who you truly are within. Make every effort not to relate yourself directly to your outward positions, possessions, conditions or situations. Though you are in this world, you are not of this world. The Wisdom that brought you forth is far above the wisdom of this world.

There is a proverb that says: “He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul”. Seek to know and understand your own self. Love thyself. Embrace your uniqueness. There is no one else like you. You are special.

Today lets love ourselves let us make an attempt to have a deeper understanding of why we feel the way we do, but let us do so ever so lovingly and gently.

I can only assure you that you are not what you think you are, particularly if you often think negatively about yourself or often look down on yourself. If you are not what you think you are, then the question is "who are you" or you may ask yourself: "What am I"?

To find out who you truly are is to reconnect to Spirit through the workings of your own mind. No one else can do this for you, but you alone. It is your own personal journey. You can begin this process starting right this moment. It is that simple. There is a divine life within you that is awaiting your recognition in order to manifest. Life situations, events or circumstances have certainly caused you to draw certain beliefs or principles that you are currently living by.

These principles, if based on erroneous or destructive thought- patterns, will in the long run harm you and affect those you love. Those principles are sometimes based on ignorance; ignorance of our Origin and our true Self. But in Truth you are innocent, you really didnot know any better, you were trying to protect yourself.

Once these principles have become a part of "you", they become your identity. This identity is in fact a false image that you have created of yourself. You see, our beliefs system is our consciousness. Our consciousness constitutes our thought patterns, our feelings and our emotions, which lead to our behaviors and patterns of response. It also involves our memories, which are stored in our heart. The heart is also called our subconsciousness or the subconscious mind. The heart is the source of our true origin and our integrity.

All of your life experiences whether "good or bad" are also registered in your heart. Your heart constitutes part of your invisible Self, which is an aspect of your mind or your spirit. Spirit is what gives Life. Thus the answer in finding out one's true self is within oneself. Ask and it shall be given to you. Once you become conscious that you are not just this visible body you will begin to take the first step in discovering who you truly are and in reconnecting to that place from which you came forth. That same place is where everything and everyone in the universe emanate.

The more you are connected to your source the more you are connected to your true self and to everyone and the entire universe. Your True Self is full of Perfect Beauty, Complete Innocence, and Infinite Love. You may begin by slowly saying: I am beauty, I am innocence, and I am Love. Say it again and again until this affirmation becomes a part of your overall thinking. Say it as often as you can and there is a part of you that knows this to be true of You, and will agree with you even if your conscious mind wants to disagree, just keep saying: I am beauty, I am innocence, and I am love.
